Day 11 of the 56 Days saga unfolds with Ciara rousing Oliver from his slumber and confronting him about the drugs. He confesses that his physician is administering propofol, a sedative, due to his severe insomnia caused by anxiety. If he doesn't sleep for a few days, he begins to hallucinate. As he reaches for his phone, she swiftly jots down his password.

Fast forward to the present, Elliot storms off after instructing Lee to leave "Ollie" alone. Based on this, Lee surmises that Elliot is protecting Oliver, who is still alive.
On Day 12, as Oliver walks Ciara to her office, she reminisces about her past job as a server at Del's Lemonade. When he recognizes it, she fibs about its location. He spots Jane waiting for Ciara but doesn't recognize her. Once he departs, Ciara tells Jane to stay away. She then enters the office, nods to the security guard, and slips out the back, confirming that she never worked there.
At the present, Karl pores over Seaport's CCTV footage and spots the masked man. Another CCTV shows Oliver acquiring a car a month ago and hanging out with Ciara. Kevin, the building manager, piques Karl's curiosity, and Karl notices that he has the same pants as the masked man. Kevin tucks in his legs and claims he never met Oliver.
Ciara and Shyla are on call as the latter prepares to hang out with their deceased brother's friend, Frank. Ciara finally reveals that she's going to get some money from St. Ledger, and Shyla expresses her concern for her.
At work, Elliot pumps Oliver up, constantly heaping praise upon him. He lets him go early, and Oliver shows up at the tech company to pick up Ciara... who isn't there. She runs all the way back and falls in the lobby. She's embarrassed but he jokes around and lightens the mood. He drives her home, and we see that the car belongs to Elliot. He suspects that Elliot had a thing for his father but is now content with his life.
The police have discovered a silver stud in the bathtub. Chief Cami Russo informs Lee that Elliot has threatened to sue Karl. However, Russo has other issues as the Vice department is investigating Lee's "witness," Linus Finch. Lee claims she met him on a tip, but Russo has photos of Linus in her car a month ago. She doesn't push for an explanation from Lee, who remains silent.
The silver stud belongs to Ciara. Oliver receives another letter with a number, and he calls it, only to hang up in panic. By Day 16, he's extremely paranoid and hallucinating a redheaded ex-lover everywhere. He visits his psychiatrist, Dan, and begs for more drugs, which Dan provides. Oliver lies about breaking up with Ciara and talks about seeing his ex. Dan believes this is guilt manifesting from what Oliver did. However, Oliver insists he's a victim and that some stalker is out to get him.
Alone at home, Ciara goes through his mail and gets his bank information. She pretends to be his mother and tries to withdraw $10,000 from his investments but fails. To make matters worse, Oliver's mother, Chickie, gets a feedback rating call for Ciara's conversation.
Lee goes through the trash and finds the letter from Oliver St Ledger. Unbeknownst to her, Russo informs Karl about Linus and his background, including his first arrest for cocaine possession.
Ciara tries to open Oliver's safe again. Oliver arrives home and catches her coming out of his closet. He looks upset, but she simply takes off her clothes and enters the bathroom.
Karl confronts Lee about Linus. She reveals that he will never forgive her and gives her a day to come clean. He looks worried but she gets back on the case. It's revealed that Oliver is the son of the billionaire venture capitalist, Caspar St Ledger. The family is from Narragansett, Rhode Island. Shyla is shown getting a drink from Del's in Narragansett. Lee reveals that Oliver disappeared after dodging arrest for first-degree murder and keeps changing his name; he's known as the Narrow River Killer.
Oliver joins Ciara in the shower and is rough with her.
