Episode 2 of Beef Season 2 begins with Austin and Ashley discussing the scope of Josh promoting her. When Ashley plays the video, Josh and Lindsay argue with Austin, threatening to expose it. Realizing that the video could potentially get him fired, Josh agrees to promote her to a managerial position.

On their drive back home, Ashley is thrilled about finally getting health insurance and surgery. Austin has second thoughts about blackmailing the couple and points out that he isn't getting anything out of it. The couple argues but decides to move past it.
Meanwhile, Josh asks Lindsay to add new terms to the termination section of MVP employee contracts to avoid future incidents. Lindsay gets riled up and considers making Ashley pay, but Josh asks her to ignore it since Ashley is only asking for a promotion.
Lindsay brings up their plan to start a bed and breakfast and suggests he quit his job so they can downsize and travel more. Josh refuses and goes ahead with Ashley’s promotion. At work, Ashley feels guilty about Deb being fired to make room for her. She tries to take on Deb’s workload and help around the club, but Josh is more interested in getting her to delete the video. Ashley deletes it in front of him and asks for an orientation.
At home, Austin watches training videos when Ashley asks him to run errands. He gets upset when she implies he's doing nothing. However, Ashley later calls him, asking for help shopping for new work clothes since their future depends on her job.
At the club, Lindsay has tea with Ava, Troy’s wife, and her friends. Ava brings up her trainer, Woosh. Lindsay tries to brag that he flirted with her, but Ava dismisses it, saying he flirts with everyone to sell Korean skincare. Lindsay is irritated and asks the VIP members to approach Ashley, the new concierge.
Meanwhile, Janet delineated Ashley's responsibilities, enumerating invoices, accounting, and inventory as crucial tasks. Ashley struggled to keep pace and abruptly exited the conversation when Janet inquired about her college degree, choosing instead to focus on errands.
Elsewhere, Josh received a call from his sister Sara, who confronted him about overdraft charges on their mother's shared account. She probed into his financial issues, but he grew defensive and shut her down.
Simultaneously, Lindsay, wounded by Woosh's behavior, rejected him. She unblocked Duke Desmond and agreed to his plan of escaping. When he requested a photo, she sent a heavily edited one. Feeling insecure about her skin, she texted Woosh for skincare advice.
The next day, Woosh shared with Lindsay that he was leaving South Korea for Chairwoman Park, explaining that he owed her for taking him in after his parents' demise. He portrayed her as highly influential.
Lindsay requested skincare with immediate results. Woosh proposed connecting her with a surgeon in Seoul for a $40,000 package. When he refused to offer a discount, Lindsay threatened to use her connections to make false allegations against him, involving female VIPs. Worried, Woosh agreed to pay for her surgery himself.
Later that night, Ashley returned home to find Austin filming workout videos. He planned to monetize his professional knowledge online. Ashley shared her day's events, but he changed the subject. She was disappointed to learn that he had purchased her used clothes instead of new ones for work.
At the exclusive club, Josh, the gracious host, entertains VIP guests with finesse. Troy, a keen observer, mentions that Chairperson Park is in the midst of an intense interview for the General Manager position, casting a shadow of uncertainty upon Josh's mind. As he overhears a scheme to boost profits, Josh's feelings of insecurity are overshadowed by a spark of curiosity. The following day, Josh, eager to repay his debt to Michael Phelps, auctions off his vintage musical instruments with a sense of inevitability.
Ashley, an adept schemer, leads Chairperson Park and her translator Eunice through the club's lavish facilities. Under the guise of introducing them to Austin, a supposed employee, Ashley weaves a web of lies. When she mentions Austin's half-Korean heritage, Park's interest is piqued. Eunice, who has her own agenda, reveals that Park is seeking a physiotherapist for her husband. Ashley, playing along, falsely certifies Austin's qualifications and arranges a trial session.
That night, Ashley requests Austin to craft a fake physiotherapy license for the sake of paperwork. In another corner, Woosh facilitates an online consultation between Lindsay and Dr. Kim, who recommends a series of procedures with unwavering confidence.
At home, Josh is left alone when he receives a video call from an OnlyFans model. Guilt consumes him as he jogs, listening to a podcast that delves into the effects of pornography on one's psyche.
The next day, Josh approves Ashley's invoices, unaware of the deceit she has woven. She also submits the fake certificate for Austin's employment, further muddying the waters.
Later, Josh confides in Lindsay his plan to siphon funds from the club to purchase and resell artwork. Though skeptical, Lindsay acquiesces to his vision. Josh insists that Ashley will bear the consequences since she handles the accounts. He envisions this as a means to fund their bed and breakfast and mend their strained relationship.
Finally, Austin arrives at Chairperson Park's residence and meets Eunice. While Park is engrossed in a call, Eunice enlists Austin to conduct the session with her instead. The episode ends with Dr. Kim revealing to his wife, Chairperson Park, that he inadvertently caused a patient's death during surgery.
