As Damian and Alvaro stepped into the vault corridor, Damian's assumption proved to be true. It turned out that once inside the vault, the system required Alvaro's retinal scan within ten seconds. Without it, flammable gas was pumped into the corridor, igniting a fire that would incinerate intruders, leaving no chance of escape through the dome door.
Damian was fascinated by Alvaro's genius, and he rushed back to Keila's room to share his findings. Finding her in the midst of an intimate moment with Bruce didn't deter him.
Meanwhile, Berlin and Candela brainstormed to perfect their fake robbery plan when Cameron called. It turned out that after the rice shipment from Nigeria, more diplomats from various countries boarded the ship, making any searches impossible. She had an idea where the cargo might be hidden, and she was considering drilling a hole through her cabin to reach it. Berlin thought it was a terrible idea, but Cameron insisted. He called out her behavior and willful ignorance, similar to when she cheated on her boyfriend, Roi, and then humiliated and blamed him for what she did. She didn't listen, so Berlin gave a stern order for her to follow his instructions.
Later, while out with Candela, Berlin received a call from Damian about the vault. Damian was becoming skeptical about the heist, believing it would be impossible. Berlin realized that he was having second thoughts because he was building relationships with the targets. Genoveva was reigniting his passion with secret dates and meetings. On the other hand, he was becoming best friends with Alvaro and fascinated by his ingenious security systems. Berlin held that the heist would happen, and any risks they might encounter would be solved using science.
As Berlin walked into the café to pay the bill, he ran into Camille. She asked to meet at her hotel later as she had something for him. Berlin tried to turn her down, but she insisted, threatening him with a gun. Camille was here to get answers about why he hadn't met her as they had agreed in Singapore. He came up with a whole story, including image proof of how the eruption occurred and how he sent her a message to meet in Argentina, but she never showed up.
Camille wanted to kiss him, but Berlin turned away because their moment had passed and he was in love with Candela. Just then, someone knocked on the door.
Elsewhere, Roi, Keila, and Bruce were sent by Damian to search for suits that could withstand the fire in the vault corridor. Bruce took Keila's phone and called Claudio to invite him out to dinner.
On the yacht, Genoveva showed up to their secret meeting with a blonde wig. She had changed her hair to fool Samuel and get away. It turned out that Camille knew about the photocopied money and wondered why Damian was still responding to her whims.
Damian confessed that he had fallen in love with Genoveva. He thought about her all the time, got excited when she left post-it notes and secret messages about their meetings, and dreamed of her. Genoveva reciprocated, saying that she too dreamed of him.
Damian's heart is no longer inclined towards furthering their relationship. First, he has become friends with Alvaro and realized that he is a good man. Second, he vowed never to betray another person's marriage after his own ended due to infidelity.
Genoveva insists on playing some music and getting Damian to dance with her, but when she goes to kiss him, he still pulls away. He proposes a new deal where Genoveva leaves Alvaro and escapes with him once the job is done. Genoveva thanks him for the offer and leaves, promising to tell him of her decision.
Meanwhile, the knock on Camille's room turns out to be room service. She sits on Berlin's lap and tries to reignite his feelings by reminiscing about their memories and intimate moments in Paris. Just then, Candela walks in. She doesn't confront Berlin but makes it clear that they are from different worlds. She admits that she is madly in love with him, but their love has an expiration date. She prefers to walk away from it all and asks Berlin not to look for her.
Elsewhere, against Berlin's orders, Cameron still decides to drill through her cabin floor in search of the Nigerian rice.
Back at the yacht, while the crew prepares to send a fire truck, all Berlin can think about is Candela. He sends Roi, Keila, and Bruce on the job while he goes to Candela's family watermelon farm to look for her. The family knows about him and meets Camille at the hotel. Berlin believes that Candela knows that nothing happened with Camille, but she's afraid that she loves Berlin too much. She saw an opportunity to escape and took it. Berlin confesses that he loves her just as much.
Candela's father threatens him with a gun, but he too takes out his gun, and there is a standoff. He insists that he is not leaving and tells the whole family about his real background. His real name is Andres de Fonolossa; he lives in Madrid, was married, and has a young son called Rafael. He doesn't know how to prove to Candela that he is really into her, so the only way he can think of is to propose. Candela says yes, and they kiss, and her whole family applauds.
