Episode 4 of "Berlin" kicks off with Berlin arriving at the church, perfectly timed for the heist to commence. Meanwhile, François is in the midst of securing the jewels in the vault. As anticipated, Damián is on edge, aware of Berlin's tardiness due to his affair with Camille. Despite this, the operation must proceed, and they have a mere 15 hours before the vault is next accessed, allowing them to steal the jewels and cover their tracks.
With everything meticulously arranged, the gang steps into the vault and begins packing the precious cargo. However, Damián, consumed by his divorce-related frustrations, takes them out on Berlin. Berlin urges him to cease behaving like a possessive lover and focuses on completing the task. They need to head to François's apartment to remove the hidden cameras, a duty Damián neglected due to the heist being accelerated by two days.
Keila monitors the computers while the rest of the gang suits up and ventures into the vault. François, engrossed in signing papers, remains oblivious. The tension between Damián and Berlin escalates, almost culminating in a physical altercation. Damián scorns the affair as futile and accuses Berlin of破坏François's marriage. He claims Berlin is deceiving Camille and acting selfishly. Words fly, and a scuffle breaks out, with Damián shoving Berlin against the wall, causing a noise that catches François's attention. Everyone in the vault halts abruptly.
The guard dismisses the sound as metal expanding and explains they cannot open the vault for another fifteen minutes. François insists on checking the antechamber to ensure everything is alright. Keila swiftly alerts Bruce and Cameron to cease their activities. They spring into action, securing everything, and the guard finds nothing suspicious. He reports to François that all is well and asks if he wishes to override the vault lock. However, a call interrupts François, and he decides it's unnecessary. He exits the building, confident in the safety of his jewels.
The gang resumes their work, but Damián informs Berlin that their partnership is over. With the jewels safely secured, Roi and Berlin return to the hotel while the others dismantle the setup. They have four hours to restore everything to its original state. Roi deposits all the jewels in Damián's hotel room before departing with Berlin to François's apartment. Their plan is to frame François, making him look suspicious.
At the condo, Berlin incapacitates François with chloroform before removing the cameras and any other traces of their presence. Roi confronts Berlin about drugging François, as it wasn't part of the plan. Berlin swiftly asserts his authority, warning Roi never to question or judge him again.
After extracting the cameras, Berlin takes François's car to one of their houses in Chantilly and sets him up by planting incriminating evidence. On his return, he spots the guards attempting to reach François. Meanwhile, the rest of the team meticulously cleans and removes any signs of their involvement, making it seem as though they never entered the vault. They cover the hole and restore everything to its former state. Lastly, they devise a plan to cause a power outage, buying them time to remove the security camera relays.
For the execution of this meticulously crafted segment of their plan, they meticulously dismantle one of the high-voltage power lines that snake beneath the auction house. Prior to the impending blackout, they orchestrate a clever decoy, posing as headquarters personnel in dire need of assistance. This ruse effectively distracts the vigilant guards, who hastily abandon their posts to investigate the supposed emergency, thereby clearing the path for the gang to execute their daring heist.
The sudden plunge into darkness disables not only the auction house's surveillance system but also the mechanism that unlocks the vault doors. This unexpected turn of events prompts the guards to hastily summon technicians, leaving the gang with a crucial window of opportunity. They gamble on the arrival of technicians from Geneva and anticipate the vault being accessed within a six to seven-hour timeframe, confident that they will have vanished without a trace by then.
After methodically sealing every entry point they utilized during their triumphant raid, the team disperses, returning to their respective hotels in discreet, separate contingents. Berlin issues strict instructions for the team to confines themselves to their rooms, conducting a meticulous sweep to purge any incriminating evidence. He further advises a staggered checkout between 9 and 10 AM the following morning, aiming to avoid raising any eyebrows. Damián, meanwhile, shoulders the responsibility of meticulously cleaning each and every gem they've acquired, ensuring they gleam with an untainted brilliance.
Regrettably, Bruce finds himself entangled in a loose thread and enlists Keila's assistance to untangle it. They devise a charade, pretending to seek solitude for an intimate encounter, but in reality, Bruce enlists Keila's aid to erase his passport entry from the bike rental's records. He is haunted by the fear that a police investigation into the bike could lead to his photograph being discovered, ultimately resulting in his capture.
Under the cover of darkness, they creep into the bike rental shop, intending to discreetly delete Bruce's passport information. However, their meticulously crafted plan begins to unravel as they encounter guards on the premises. Keila, quick-witted, pretends to be the accountant, who had fallen ill, while Bruce seeks refuge beneath her desk. She inches closer to success, but the computer stubbornly refuses to cooperate, refusing to delete Bruce's passport. A helpful guard offers to assist her, only to find himself face-to-face with Bruce's startled gaze as he leans over to reveal the supposed 'trick.'
Returning to the hotel, Cameron dials her ex's number but ultimately decides against leaving a message. Her thoughts are interrupted by Roi, whose anger boils over after being evicted from their room by Bruce, who claimed he needed it to 'sleep with Keila.' Furthermore, Damián's outburst against him fuels his rage.
Roi insists on sharing Cameron's room for the night, and their conversation takes an unexpected turn as they bond over his tattoo. Cameron is mesmerized by the intricate octopus inked on Roi's back, teasing him playfully. In this moment, Roi decides he has had enough of blindly following Berlin's commands.
