Episode 5 of Berlin resumes with an electrifying moment as the guard discovers Bruce tucked away beneath Keila's desk. Instinctively, the guard brandishes his weapon, alerting his comrades, while Keila swiftly raises her hands in surrender. Bruce, quick-thinking, conceals one of the nearby weights beneath his jacket. Commands to emerge from hiding echo through the room, and Keila attempts to diffuse the tension. She fabricates a tale, painting Bruce as her lover whose office escapade has been thwarted. Naturally, the guards remain skeptical and demand identification. However, Bruce seizes the opportunity, utilizing the weight to knock the gun from the guard's grasp. Keila, now in full criminal mode, springs into action, securing the weapon first. Her demeanor transforms drastically, commanding the guards to kneel as they proceed to raid the safe, stealing its contents. She orchestrates the scene to resemble a premeditated heist, muddling the subsequent investigation. Bruce, impressed by her prowess, offers a flippant comment about her underwear, which irritates Keila. She scolds him for failing to grasp the gravity of their situation as they speed away.
Elsewhere, Roi and Cameron venture out, with Cameron revealing that she has taken one of the jewels to adorn herself for the evening. She vows to return it the next day. Together, they steal a car and race towards an underground racing event. Roi wagers the car and loses it in a blink of an eye, following Cameron's panic attack triggered by a call from her ex. The call sends her spirits plummeting, prompting her to insist that Roi halt the race and forfeit. They lose the car, but Roi stays to comfort Cameron, who finally opens up about her past. She unveils her ex, a musician, with whom her relationship began idyllically but quickly spiraled into obsession, impacting her mental health adversely. Their breakup was arduous for Cameron, haunted by a song he composed for her and posters of him that seemed omnipresent.
Driven to distraction, Cameron accidentally set her place ablaze while attempting to rid herself of their memorabilia. She was subsequently diagnosed with a psychotic break, acute paranoia, and emotional dissociation disorder, leading to her confinement in a mental hospital.
To boost Cameron's morale, Roi embarked on a daring mission, sneaking into their hiding place in the hangar and attempting to steal a plane for an exhilarating flight. Fortunately, he halted just in time, realizing he wasn't a licensed pilot! However, his bold endeavor did have its desired effect; the adrenaline rush temporarily distracted Cameron from his troubles. Alas, this momentary ease quickly faded when they realized they had left the precious jewel necklace in the car. Meanwhile, Berlin returned to the hotel where he shared a night with Camille, pretending he hadn't left at all. Early in the morning, Camille was the first to visit his room. Berlin demanded she choose between him and François. Torn between her feelings, Camille confessed her love for both, with Berlin insisting she inform him of her decision promptly.
Elsewhere, Detective Marie Lavelle, tasked with investigating the heist, made her grand entrance. Unsurprisingly, she arrested François as the primary suspect, given the absence of any break-in signs at the scene. Damián called Berlin to relay this "good news," urging him to confirm the police had departed before contacting the transporters for their escape plan. The evacuation commenced in earnest: Bruce and Keila took the lead, disguising themselves as backpackers and boarding a bus bound for Spain, with three cans of jewels concealed within. Berlin reasoned that such a low-profile mode of transportation would never raise suspicion—who would guess that high-value jewels were hidden on a bus?
Roi and Cameron chose an RV as their escape vehicle, soon joined by Damián, who posed as their "father." Berlin, originally intended to depart after disposing of all incriminating evidence, altered his plans due to Camille's situation. Camille returned home to find the police conducting a search, tension thick in the air. Lavelle, convinced of François's guilt, pressured her for the safe's combination, but Camille was clueless, forcing the police to resort to explosives. Camille stood bewildered by the turn of events! Lavelle then presented François with all the evidence pointing to him, including a video showing a man (疑似François) leaving their apartment and driving to Chantilly, which the police believed was an attempt to destroy evidence. Lavelle mocked his clumsy actions, even pointing out a tiny diamond from the jewels that he had overlooked. François insisted on his innocence, claiming to be the victim instead.
The episode concluded with Camille calling Berlin, who was in the midst of packing. Upon hearing the news, he rushed to Camille's place. Camille poured out François's plight to Berlin, who calmly played the innocent card, subtly driving a wedge between her and her husband. Camille led Berlin to the blown-up safe, feeling as though she had been sleeping with a stranger all along.
