Elsewhere, Michael convenes with Yumeko to delve into the photograph she skillfully procured. The snapshot encapsulates a gallery of influential personalities: Kira and Riri's father, Dori's parents, Runa's father (a council member renowned for his generosity in lending to students), Suki's mother, and an enigmatic figure identified by Michael as a mere house pet among the elite. Yumeko's perception sharpens, realizing that these individuals now constitute the school's ruling board. Her newfound ambition ignites—to secure a spot among the top 10 students and infiltrate the incoming student council, thereby gaining access to a confidential meeting with the board at term's end.

To bolster her position, Yumeko orchestrates a strategic pairing of Michael and Dori for the gala, aiming to divert Dori's focus. In parallel, Riri extends an invitation to Mary, hoping for a regal escort. Yumeko, undeterred, turns to Ryan, envisioning a triumphant partnership that could clinch the king and queen titles and their lucrative prize, banking on Ryan's exceptional dancing prowess. However, the student council vows to thwart her aspirations.

As the dance commences, guests arrive, some already armed with votes. Ryan and Yumeko's electrifying performance on the dance floor steals the spotlight, captivating the audience and amassing votes. Victory seems within grasp when, to everyone's astonishment, the DJ is unveiled as none other than Suki, risen from the supposed grave.

Suki, under his newfound moniker, reveals that his death was a meticulously orchestrated hoax, orchestrated in tandem with Kira. He justifies his Alpha Sean persona as an escape from the confines of toxic masculinity. His dramatic reappearance is met with cheers, yet his true intentions remain shrouded in mystery.

To cast a dramatic twist upon the proceedings, Suki declares with an air of absolute authority that, as "the solitary queen present," Yumeko and Ryan must engage in a fierce duel for the prestigious title of king, facing the daunting prospect of becoming mere house pets if they decline. The victorious party stands to gain $100,000 in chips, whereas retreat signifies the forfeit of all they have accumulated thus far.

Reluctantly embracing the challenge, Yumeko and Ryan find themselves locked in combat, with Yumeko opting for the fierce strategy of Skirmish. Ryan, hesitant to harm Yumeko, initially attempts to sabotage the match, yet paradoxically emerges victorious, reluctantly condemning Yumeko to the ignominy of house pet status.

Elsewhere, amidst the tumult, Mary and Riri find a tranquil oasis of romance, sharing a tender, secluded moment far from the fray. Meanwhile, Michael's world is turned upside down as he discovers Dori's clandestine espionage. Realizing that the perceived toughness embodied by Dori's eyepatch was merely a fabrication orchestrated by Kira, he decides to depart.

Dori, later overwhelmed with emotion, lays blame upon herself for failing to conform to societal norms. However, her sorrow quickly transforms into compassion as she spots Michael weeping over the enigmatic man in the photograph—the very same unknown house pet. Without hesitation, she rushes to his side, offering solace in this moment of profound vulnerability.
