Seizing the opportunity, Oswaldo retrieves BJ3’s crucial documents while Minerva erupts in jubilation back in the bunker. The impersonator posing as Guillermo instructs Oswaldo to expedite the deal and make haste to Bangkok to acquire a so-called "unicorn" company. It is then revealed that Minerva and Ziro have, for years, been masterminding the creation of fake yet highly profitable start-up ventures.
Their grand scheme involves luring Oswaldo into purchasing one of these bogus companies and then systematically laundering the funds through multiple transactions until they become virtually untraceable. Following this intricate process, they plan to regroup and divide the ill-gotten gains among themselves.
On the far side of the bunker, Max coaxes Rafa into letting go of thoughts about his mother and encourages him to revel in the moment with Elena. Later, Max makes an impromptu visit to Minerva's office, brimming with pressing inquiries. He wastes no time in confronting Minerva about her covert surveillance of the guests, having cleverly deduced that the microphones are cleverly concealed within their bracelets.
Minerva remains enigmatic, neither admitting nor denying the allegations, but instead, she issues a stark reminder of the need to brace for the worst. She contends that, as time progresses, the guests will inevitably turn on one another, with the vulnerable being consumed by the stronger. Guillermo arrives at the infirmary upon hearing about Mimi's condition. True to her word, Asia adheres to Mimi's wishes and turns him away. Frustrated and dejected, Guillermo retreats to the bar to drown his sorrows in alcohol. There, he chances upon Max and offers a heartfelt apology.
