In the sixth episode of Blind Sherlock, Roman leaves a voicemail for Caro, apologizing for his fears of becoming a father and confessing that it doesn't make him a coward. He assures her that there's something only he can do and that he loves her and their child. The scene then cuts to Yaqub, who is visibly scared for his family and tells them that he loves them. He then boards a pancake boat with McCartney's thugs, part of a plan to catch McCartney on tape before the cops can take action against him.

The plan involves Roman, who offers to wiretap the meeting, as no one would suspect a blind man. His cane is bugged, and Meryem is brought in to translate McCartney's conversations with his people. However, Roman strays from the plan when he gets on the boat and sits at the next table with Truus, a chatty elderly lady. As backup, Nico joins the staff as a pancake chef, while Tess and Saafi follow the boat from a small boat nearby, and drones are also in use.
Yaqub's behavior is shifty, and Naima keeps questioning him. Before the boat leaves, Juliana Thyssen shows up on Billal's behalf. Mayor Limon is shocked to see her, as she owes her career to Juliana, who is a powerful politician. However, it's revealed that Juliana is actually a mediator for corrupt millionaires and wants to become business partners with McCartney. This upsets Limon, who runs off to make a call.
The boat changes course midway, and McCartney finally arrives but moves the meeting to the upper deck, which has been evacuated. The cops decide to shut down the operation as they cannot hear anything. However, Roman pretends to puke and has Truus take him to the upper deck for fresh air. McCartney's thugs make a scene, and while Truus shouts at them, Roman surreptitiously leaves his cane near their table. He and Truus then head down while the cops eavesdrop on the meeting.
The operation resumes smoothly, but soon, the tension rises as McCartney is caught on tape, discussing the murder of Lennon and agreeing to a business deal with Juliana. The cops prepare to arrest them once they dock, but Yaqub is visibly nervous throughout the entire ordeal, and even McCartney notices his unease.
Unfortunately, some kids show up to play on the upper deck and accidentally break Roman's cane. Naima spots the bug and has one of the thugs grab Roman. At that moment, Caro appears at the precinct, worried after receiving Roman's voicemail. It becomes a chaotic scene as the cops send in reinforcements to save Roman.
On the boat, the thugs spot the incoming cops, and McCartney realizes there's a mole. Naima silently gestures at Yaqub, and McCartney figures it out. Before anyone can be killed, Nico jumps into the fray with his gun, and McCartney takes Roman hostage. All his boxing training pays off as he elbows McCartney and jumps overboard. Caro panics as Roman can't swim, but Tess and Saafi save him. The cops board the boat, and a shootout ensues. McCartney hides in the same place as Yaqub. Yaqub tries to reason that everything he did was for his son. McCartney is upset by the betrayal and shoots him. All of his thugs are disarmed by the cops. Knowing he's cornered, McCartney surrenders, along with Juliana.
Roman is reunited with Caro, who reveals that she was scared for him. They hug and patch things up. However, he's sad upon learning of Yaqub's death. The government holds a press conference and reveals that they've dealt a huge blow to the drug trafficking ring, commending the Rotterdam police force. They also give a shout-out to Roman by giving him the alias "Blind Sherlock."
The epilogue reveals that Bart Kelchtermans, the actor who plays Roman, is visually impaired and that the character is based on the real "Blind Sherlock," Sacha Van Loo.
