In the opening of Episode 3 of Bloodhounds Season 2, we find ourselves at the hospital where Gun-woo is grappling with guilt and confusion. He breaks down, calling his mother So-yeon to confess that despite his best intentions, he continues to cause harm to those around him. He wonders if he should fight for Baek-yeong's sake, to end the chaos that surrounds them. So-yeon, a voice of reassurance, urges him to stay strong and not give up.

Gwang-mu emerges from surgery, bearing a few stitches but still determined to help. Meanwhile, Woo-jin is rushed into surgery. Tae-yeong sends a text to Police Chief Min Gang-yong about Gun-woo's state of mind, and Gang-yong calls to check on him, offering his support if needed.
Gun-woo and Gwang-mu leave to meet Min-beom and Gang-yong, while So-yeon stays behind with Tae-yeong at the hotel. There, Gun-woo introduces Gwang-mu to the group, but tension rises as Gang-yong expresses disapproval of his profession and refuses to accept his help in locating the fighters.
Gang-yong then receives a call about In-beom's escape from prison and shares the news with the group. He warns that releasing a prisoner is extremely dangerous, hinting that Baek-yeong is planning something much bigger. Gun-woo grows increasingly concerned that Myeong-il could also be released.
Tae-yeong reveals that while working for the police, she discovered an illegal website that offered to release prisoners and may still be active on the dark web. Min-beom offers to keep So-yeon safe at his friend's private hotel, while Gun-woo thanks everyone for their support.
Elsewhere, In-beom confirms his loyalty to Baek-yeong. When the leader of the fighter gang argues with Mr. Lee about using his men against professional boxers, Baek-yeong loses his temper and beats him to death.Baek-yeong meets Sergeant Yun, Allen, Mr. Lee, and In-beom to devise a plan to get Gun-woo into the ring. Allen reveals that investors were impressed with Adik's match and are eager to see Gun-woo in action. Baek-yeong concurs, stating that this is their only chance to make money. In-beom suggests using Min-beom as a means to reach Gun-woo.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lee receives a call from an informant who informs him that Gyeong-won is about to meet with a Police Chief. Back at the hotel, Woo-jin arrives after his surgery, and Gun-woo apologizes for not being able to reach him in time. Meanwhile, Gwang-mu's assistant tracks down the jeeps used by the fighters and reports back.
The next morning, Tae-yeong uses the mule card to access IKFC's website. Gun-woo and Woo-jin are shocked to see that Baek-yeong has already announced Gun-woo's fight using an AI-generated image. Tae-yeong also discovers a video of Adik fighting Baek-yeong. Just then, Allen sends a virus to her system and hacks into her laptop. Tae-yeong quickly shuts it down, fearing that their location has been exposed.
Gwang-mu arrives and enquires about Adik, who has been missing since his fight. He decides to track down the fighters who attacked them and takes Woo-jin with him. They reach a gym run by the fighters, where a confrontation quickly escalates into a fight. A woman from a nearby nail salon calls the police, who arrive and arrest everyone involved.
Meanwhile, Gang-yong and Gun-woo wait to meet Gyeong-won. As Gyeong-won approaches, he is suddenly stabbed on the street. Gun-woo chases the attacker, but the man escapes.
The scene is tense and filled with anticipation as each character strives to achieve their goals while navigating the dangerous underworld of fighting. The use of language and imagery helps to bring the story to life and make it more engaging for the reader.
Returning to the scene, Gun-woo discovers Gyeong-won's lifeless body. Woo-jin promptly contacts Gun-woo, urging him to convince Gang-yong to secure their release. At the police station, Gang-yong requests the senior officer to free Woo-jin and Gwang-mu, reprimanding Gwang-mu for meddling in the investigation but later instructing him to uncover the identity of the fighters' recruiter.
That night, Gwang-mu and his assistant subject one of the fighters to torture. The man professes ignorance about his employer but recalls witnessing the individual engaging in a fight with Adik. He also mentions taking a photograph while wearing the man's watch. Gwang-mu sends the photo, revealing the fighter wearing Baek-yeong's expensive watch, to Gang-yong. Gang-yong enlists the help of Detective Woo-jeong, his subordinate, to trace the watch's origin.
Simultaneously, Mr. Lee brings a man to Won-yeong's apartment, Min-beom's assistant. His henchmen torture Won-yeong's sister to extract Gun-woo's whereabouts. Mr. Lee then hands a dose of date rape drug to a woman, who goes to a bar frequented by Min-beom, drugs the bartender, takes his place, and administers the drug to Min-beom as the episode concludes.
