In the fourth episode of Bloodhounds Season 2, the story unfolds with Gi-na, the girl, drugging Min-beom at the bar. The effects of the drugs leave Min-beom high and hallucinating. Gi-na films him and leads him away. Gang-yong, alert to the situation, rushes Min-beom to the hospital. There, the doctor reveals that Min-beom’s drink was laced with a powerful drug that has severely impacted his kidneys, and he may need a transplant to survive.
Meanwhile, Gun-woo blames himself for the situation, while Gwang-mu waits outside and texts Du-yeong. The four men head to the bar and go through the CCTV footage. They find the bartender tied up inside a room, and he reveals that Gi-na showed up and drugged him. The footage confirms his statement, and Gang-yong suspects that someone who knew Min-beom’s whereabouts was involved.
Back at the investigation, Gang-yong asks Gun-woo to join him to check on Min-beom’s secretary, Won-yeong. He assigns Gwang-mu and Woo-jin to find Gi-na, but Gun-woo suggests going with Gwang-mu to prevent Woo-jin from using his injured hand. On the way, Gun-woo receives a call from Baek-jeong, who threatens to harm Woo-jin and So-yeon if he continues to resist. He also reveals that he used a spy inside the police department to kill Gyeong-won.
Elsewhere, Gwang-mu and Gun-woo go to a queer bar and speak to a man about the date rape drug. The man introduces them to a dealer, Jun, who reveals that Gi-na is his girlfriend. Jun shares her location, and the two relay the information to Gang-yong.
Meanwhile, Gang-yong and Woo-jin meet Won-yeong at his apartment. Won-yeong and his sister reveal that she was attacked and held hostage while three men forced him to expose Gun-woo’s location. He also reveals that he was threatened into sharing the name of the bar Min-beom was visiting.
His vivid portrayal of the assailants provides Gang-yong with a clearer understanding of their true nature. At the meeting, Gang-yong introduces Detective Woo-jeong to the group. Woo-jeong divulges that he traced the luxury watch from the photo shared by Gwang-mu, and only two men in South Korea possess it, one of whom is Sergeant Yun Tae-geom. He offers a concise overview of Yun's background and reveals that his daughter resides in South Korea with his mother. Gang-yong constructs a chart to map out Baek-jeong's network. The group surmises that Baek-jeong is collaborating with Sergeant Yun, In-beom, Mr. Lee, a hacker named Allen, and a doctor involved in drugging Min-beom. Gun-woo shares that Baek-jeong mentioned having a police informant, and Gang-yong cautions them not to trust anyone. He assigns tasks to everyone so they can work concurrently.
Meanwhile, Min-beom grapples with withdrawal symptoms at the hospital. The doctors urge him to take medication for the pain, but he declines. Elsewhere, Gang-yong pays a visit to Sergeant Yun's mother and enlists Woo-jin's help to distract his daughter. The mother professes ignorance about Yun's whereabouts, but the daughter reveals that she saw him recently. The mother also explains that Yun borrowed money during his wife's illness and was subsequently forced out of the military by Baek-jeong.
Back at the station, Woo-jeong informs Gang-yong that the man who stabbed Gyeong-won is Mr. Lee Man-bae. Shortly thereafter, Min-beom contacts Gang-yong and says he's still in pain but doing slightly better. That night, Gang-yong, Gun-woo, Woo-jin, and Gwang-mu make their way to the building where Gi-na is working. Jun reveals that it's a makeshift casino. Inside, Gwang-mu spots Gi-na dealing cards, and she senses danger and triggers an alarm. The criminals launch an attack on them, but Gun-woo fights them off.
Meanwhile, Gi-na attempts to flee through the emergency staircase, but Woo-jin swiftly halts her progress. She lunges for a weapon to strike him, only for Woo-jin to knock her unconscious with a swift motion. Gang-yong instructs Tae-yeong to hack into Gi-na's phone, where they discover a conversation with the individual who ordered Min-beom's drugging. Tae-yeong reveals that Gi-na had earlier met this person at a hotel and calls the hotel to gather more information. The receptionist mentions suspicious men staying in the penthouse.
At the same time, Baek-jeong and Allen meet with a potential investor, attempting to persuade him to invest in IKFC. The man appears uninterested but admits that the presence of Gun-woo could attract viewers. Just then, the receptionist informs Baek-jeong that the police have been inquiring about him.
Back at the operation, Gang-yong calls for backup and leads a raid on the hotel. However, Baek-jeong has already vacated the penthouse. Inside, Gang-yong discovers a ticking bomb and attempts to evacuate the officers, but it explodes, devastating the floor in an instant.
In the aftermath, Gun-woo panics but answers a call from Baek-jeong. Baek-jeong tries to pressure him into fighting at his club. The episode ends with Gun-woo reluctantly agreeing to fight for IKFC.
