In the seventh episode of Bloodhounds Season 2, Woo-jeong learns of the tragic deaths of Han-gu and Sergeant Yun. Min-beom visits the hospital where Gang-yong and Gwang-mu are recovering. She discovers that Gang-yong has suffered a brain hemorrhage, causing great concern for him.
Meanwhile, Woo-jin confesses to Gun-woo that he failed to protect So-yeon from being kidnapped. Elsewhere, Baek-jeong attempts to leave South Korea, but NIS agents waiting at the airport prevent him from doing so. They inform Man-bae that they cannot leave the country.
Min-beom meets with Black Ops agent Sin-hyeong at the hospital and discusses strategies to stop Baek-jeong. Sin-hyeong proposes luring him out by offering a fight with Gun-woo and a substantial sum of money. He believes Baek-jeong's greed will force him out of hiding, and the Black Ops team will ensure his demise.
Meanwhile, Du-yeong decides to join the group after sensing their danger. Unable to protect Sergeant Yun's family, Woo-jeong asks Gun-woo to take them in. Gun-woo and Woo-jin return home, where they meet Min-beom, Woo-jeong, and Tae-yeong.
Min-beom reveals that Gang-yong's condition is still critical and takes charge of the plan. She asks Gun-woo if he is willing to fight Baek-jeong, and he agrees.
Du-yeong helps the boys by meeting with them that night and revealing that he has been living as a bloodhound after going into hiding following the events involving President Choi and Yang-jung. He shows them the Bloodhounds group chat, and they plan to rescue So-yeon. Du-yeong first visits Dr. Moon and forces him to reveal Baek-jeong's location.
Meanwhile, Woo-jin tells Min-beom that he and Gun-woo want to take on Baek-jeong and In-beom together to keep them occupied while So-yeon is rescued.
Min-beom contacts Man-bae using the number obtained from Dr. Moon and challenges them to a fight in exchange for money and So-yeon's release. Baek-jeong threatens to kill So-yeon, but Man-bae stops him, reminding him that they need her alive to escape.
Man-bae renegotiates and demands Min-beom's private jet in exchange for releasing So-yeon after they leave the country. Min-beom agrees and sets the fight for ten days later.
For the next week, Gun-woo and Woo-jin train rigorously with Baek-jeong's former coach. Meanwhile, Baek-jeong and In-beom also gear up for the impending battle. Woo-jeong gathers support from trusted officers, and Tae-yeong identifies the fight location as an abandoned university with multiple rooms. Du-yeong plans to enter as a bloodhound to locate So-yeon from within.
On the eve of the match, Woo-jin and Gun-woo strategize their plan. Woo-jin decides to enter the ring first and target Baek-jeong's eye to weaken him. Gun-woo suggests using metal bars on their knuckles for a more effective fight.
Du-yeong enters the building as a bloodhound, clearing it of any threats. Man-bae assigns positions to all bloodhounds and orders them to kill anyone who leaves their post.
Min-beom enters the arena with Gun-woo and Woo-jin, while Woo-jeong and Tae-yeong wait outside. As Allen checks Min-beom's bitcoin wallet, Tae-yeong hacks into his phone.
The fight commences, and Du-yeong starts eliminating the bloodhounds inside the building. Baek-jeong enters the ring expecting to fight Gun-woo but faces Woo-jin instead. Woo-jin provokes him, and the two engage in a fierce battle, with Woo-jin enduring heavy injuries before striking Baek-jeong's eye.
Next, Gun-woo faces In-beom in the ring. After a brutal fight, Gun-woo knocks him out and breaks his wrist to prevent him from fighting again. Despite his injury, Baek-jeong returns to the ring, determined to kill Gun-woo.
Meanwhile, Du-yeong clears the building and discovers a decoy placed to mislead them. He contacts Woo-jeong and directs him to another building where So-yeon is held captive. Woo-jeong finds Man-bae holding So-yeon hostage and shoots him, killing him instantly. He brings So-yeon outside as Gun-woo knocks Baek-jeong out.
Soon after, backup police enter the arena and arrest Baek-jeong. So-yeon reunites with her sons outside. As Baek-jeong is taken into custody, Sin-hyeong and his team intercept and abduct him. They send Min-beom a photo of Baek-jeong's lifeless body and return the money.
Back at their house, Gun-woo and Woo-jin decide to continue their training so they can take down people like Baek-jeong in the future. The episode ends with Sin-hyeong meeting Baek-jeong, who is still alive. He offers him a deal to work for Black Ops, and Baek-jeong agrees to help take down Paichit Chaichana, who plans to bring meth worth 300 billion won into South Korea. They stage a fake gunshot to mislead Min-beom.
