The duo then returns to Min-ju's family home for dinner, where they engage in lighthearted chatter amidst the familial warmth. Min-ju is eager to inquire about Yong-ju's somber demeanor but is thwarted by her premature departure.

Back at Yong-ju's residence, her grandmother suddenly experiences a painful episode and collapses, yet she manages to rise swiftly, masking her discomfort by the time Yong-ju arrives. Another nostalgic flashback unfolds, depicting Yong-ju's return home after her heroic act, only to find her grandmother lying helplessly on the floor.

Elsewhere, Ah-reum invites her parents to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday, using the occasion to confront them about their overindulgence with material gifts while neglecting to provide her with the love and attention she deeply desires. By chance, Chan-hwi and his siblings also find themselves at the same restaurant, celebrating Chan-hwi's younger brother's birthday. As Ah-reum's parents abruptly leave for work, she is left feeling abandoned and lonely. Her imagination runs wild, picturing Chan-hwi bringing her a cake and serenading her.

However, as fate would have it, Chan-hwi does indeed notice her as he exits the restaurant, introducing her to his siblings. Heartbroken and hungry, Ah-reum retreats to a nearby convenience store to eat. To her astonishment, Chan-hwi reappears, holding a bundle of cookies arranged to resemble a small cake. This time, it's no mere figment of her lonely imagination; it's a heartwarming reality.

A couple of days hence, Min-ju's curiosity about Yong-ju's concealed secrets persists. The Jisang team ventures towards the brewery, and on their journey, Yong-ju encounters the villagers, who voice their grievances against her. Evidently, Min-ju cannot cease raving about how Yong-ju rescued him, leaving the villagers weary of the endless tales. Yong-ju feels uneasy, reminiscing about the missed call from her grandmother during Min-ju's rescue. When Yong-ju confronts Min-ju, she masks her turmoil, appearing composed once more. The team then delves into the concept for their upcoming beer.

As they anticipate the beer's fermentation, Yong-ju and Chan-hwi recount their gym rivalry that blossomed into friendship. Ah-reum and Chan-hwi subsequently pedal off on a bike to fetch coffee. She astonishes him by embracing him warmly from behind. In the meantime, Min-ju inquiries about Yong-ju's distress, and she vows to unveil her troubles later.

An unexpected twist arises when Ra-oh receives a call informing him of his father's collapse. They hastily escort him to the hospital, where Ra-oh is compelled to sign a surgery consent form. Yong-ju, recalling a similar ordeal with her grandmother, offers Ra-oh guidance on how to shoulder responsibilities and be a steadfast caregiver. When Min-ju foots the bill for Ra-oh's father's hospital expenses, Ra-oh feels unease. However, Min-ju persuades him to embrace the assistance extended by others.

After leaving the hospital, Min-ju and Yong-ju part ways, with Yong-ju escorting Min-ju home. Her grandmother warmly invites Min-ju for dinner, and Min-ju eagerly accepts. Yong-ju's grandmother beams with joy to see them together. When Yong-ju drifts into slumber, Min-ju confesses her fondness for her.

After tenderly tucking her into bed, Yong-ju's mother unveils the veil of the past. Yong-ju had stumbled upon Min-ju inside a car reeking of fumes—a potential suicide attempt, albeit never explicitly confirmed by the narrative. In a heart-wrenching dilemma, Yong-ju chose to save Min-ju, inadvertently ignoring her grandmother's desperate call, which ultimately led to the latter's collapse. This pivotal moment plunged them into a sea of financial woes. Yong-ju, leaving behind her military life and cherished hobbies, dedicated herself to earning a livelihood. Conversely, Min-ju internalized Yong-ju's selflessness, crafting a life centered around safeguarding his own well-being.

Now, Min-ju acknowledges that he is the catalyst behind Yong-ju's life disruption. In the wee hours of the morning, Yong-ju awakens with a start, her eyes landing on a heartfelt apology note from Min-ju. She seeks solace with her grandmother, resolving to let bygones be bygones. Her grandmother, with an unwavering heart, gives her blessing.

Yong-ju rushes to the brewery, where an urgent situation awaits. A mysterious caller, now disconnected, had alerted the fire department about a possible mishap on the mountain. Yong-ju's instincts scream Min-ju's name. She hastily scales the mountain, her heart pounding, but to her relief, finds Min-ju sitting serenely beside the dilapidated hut they once discovered together.

She scolds him for his abrupt disappearance, while he explains that he needed time to ponder—to find a way to be with her, despite the obstacles. His incessant inquiries about her well-being soften her stance, and she finally admits her pain. He vows never to abandon her, sealing his promise with a tender kiss. After a poignant pause, she reciprocates, their lips meeting once again, marking the conclusion of Brewing Love Episode 7 with a heartwarming embrace.
