In Italy, Ho-jin escorts Mu-hee to the place where he has been staying. He expresses his gratitude to Do Ra-mi for helping him comprehend Mu-hee better. Now that he knows her fears, he tells her to assume they will eventually break up. Therefore, they should date freely without worrying about a happy ending. They decide to freely date each other for at least a month.

As Mu-hee tries to use the hair dryer, the electricity suddenly goes out. Dinner is left behind, but there's a spark between Ho-jin and Mu-hee, who end up kissing each other.

A flashback reveals Hiro finding Mu-hee outside the opera theatre, crying. He tells her he knows she likes someone else and encourages her to pursue him. Currently, Hiro drowns his sorrows in alcohol.

On the flight home, Producer Park, Ms. Cha, and Ji-seon notice that a post about Mu-hee dating a married man has blown up. People are discussing how her period of dating him coincides with the time when his wife was pregnant. The photo of Ho-jin on the Japanese island is also found and posted, with people now assuming he is Yu-jin. Although Ji-seon seems to recognize Ho-jin.

In the morning, Nanami finds Hiro unresponsive in his hotel room. She calls Ho-jin for help interpreting with the Italians, and Ho-jin explains the situation. Hiro wakes up in his room with an IV in his arm. He had simply mixed his allergy medicine with alcohol by mistake.

The scandal surrounding Mu-hee escalates further. Mu-hee knows that telling the truth could complicate things further and instead posts a picture with Yu-jin and his wife, saying they are all friends, to quell the rumors.

Yu-jin and his wife meet Mu-hee in South Korea to thank her for her post, as it has made Yu-jin famous. He asks for another favor. His son is sick, and he asks Mu-hee to help sell his products. She calls him a jerk, but he points out that throughout their relationship, she was anxious about him leaving.

Elsewhere, Mr. Kim shares with Ho-jin that he has heard of Mr. Cha, the chairman of Myeongjin Foundation. His older brother works in China, but his younger brother has passed away. As Ho-jin's inquiries reveal their connection to Mu-hee, Mr. Kim congratulates him. However, Ho-jin becomes annoyed when he realizes that Mr. Kim almost believed the rumors about Mu-hee. He storms off, but he can't even meet Mu-hee because they said they wouldn't see each other until the rumors settle down.

At the entertainment agency, Yong-u's uncle informs him that he is being transferred to the sports department, which is where he ultimately wanted to go. However, for this job, he needs to move to Europe within one month. Considering his new relationship with Ji-seon, this is a tough choice.

Ho-jin returns home to find Mu-hee waiting for him. She pretends to be Do Ra-mi, but he sees right through it. She says she wanted to say something that she could never say as Mu-hee - that he can break up with her if he wants to. Since he's dating a celebrity, people will dig up all the details about his life, and she's okay if he wants to end things. Ho-jin assures her that he doesn't mind and reminds her to focus on the present, since they will be breaking up in the future anyway. Mu-hee agrees and they make up.

The next day, Ho-jin heads to Busan for some work. He gets on a train and meets Ji-seon, who is also going to Busan. Mu-hee goes to the studio, where Ms. Cha wants to include the confession from the castle in Italy. Mu-hee believes it was just a line for the show, but Ms. Cha tells her that it was real. At that moment, Hiro arrives as well. It turns out that his Korean is a lot better now, and he realizes that Mu-hee wants to ask about what he said at the castle. He admits that he did really like her.

In the train, Ji-seon recalls how they met in Japan as well. She asks Ho-jin if he remembers Enoshima, the Japanese island that she wanted as a present and if he went there on her birthday. The episode ends with Ji-seon asking him if he liked her.
