Can This Love Be Translated? – K-drama Episode 12 1

Back in Seoul, Mu-hee apologizes for leading him on and explains that Do Ra-mi saw him as a happy ending, an escape from their reality. Meanwhile, Mr. Kim meets Mr. Cha and his wife through a friend named Mr. Oh. Mr. Kim expresses his concern since Ho-jin is like his son. Mu-hee's aunt tells Kim to dissuade Ho-jin from being with her.

Ho-jin returns from Busan that night and meets Mu-hee at the railway station. She takes him to a place with a view of the city, and they decide to go to a dark sky reserve soon so they can see the Milky Way.

Back in Busan, Ji-seon is showing off to her friends about Yong-u when he himself shows up. He says he has something important to tell her and then asks her to marry him. He explains that he's going to the UK for his work with a sports client but doesn't want to break up with her. She reveals that they don't need to break up since she's been planning on studying abroad anyway and can go with him.

Mu-hee confides to her psychiatrist that she hasn't seen Do Ra-mi for some time. The psychiatrist speculates that Do Ra-mi could be a symbol of someone from Mu-hee's past. Soon, Mr. Cha pays a visit to Ho-jin's house, claiming to have something important to discuss. He reveals that Mu-hee's mother used her child as a means to keep her father close, ultimately leading to tragedy.

While Mu-hee is out shopping, her aunt stops by and informs her that her uncle is spilling the truth to Ho-jin. Mu-hee questions her aunt about why she blames her, considering none of this is her fault. Her aunt replies that Mu-hee looks just like her mother. When Mu-hee looks in the mirror, she suddenly realizes that she does resemble her mother. Do Ra-mi wasn't an alter ego; she was always a representation of her mother. This realization causes Mu-hee to faint and fall to the ground.

A flashback reveals that Mu-hee's mother tried to force her daughter to eat a poisoned cake that would kill her father. When Mu-hee refused, her mother told her that no one would love her and that she would never be happy. These words stayed with Mu-hee forever.

After Mu-hee awakens in the hospital, Yong-u informs her that she was unconscious for three days. Ho-jin rushes in and they smile at each other. Meanwhile, Hiro, who had also been stressed out for three days, is relieved to learn that Mu-hee is okay.

Ho-jin shows Mu-hee a photo of her mother and drops another bombshell - her parents are actually alive. They were saved by paramedics. Her father is the "uncle" living abroad, but her mother's whereabouts are unknown. Mr. Cha lied to her because she didn't remember any of it.

Hiro is doing well in Japan and even auditions for a role in a Hollywood movie. He tells the director that he has realized he needs to fight for what he wants or he will be left with regrets. Nanami praises him, saying he has matured.

Yes, they do! Mu-hee realizes that she wants to find her mother, and the only person who can help her is her father. So, she decides to go visit him abroad. When Ho-jin drops her off at the airport, she tells him that they should break up right then and there. Her plan is to threaten him into dating her again when she returns, ensuring they can be together for a long time.

While she's gone, Yong-u and Ji-seon leave for the UK. Ho-jin's mother comes home and donates all the books her father left to her.

Well, Christmas Time arrives, and the crew of the reality show celebrates submitting their final cut. Ji-seon shows everyone her new engagement ring, announcing that Yong-u is now her fiancé!

As for Ho-jin, he receives a text from Mu-hee inviting him to see the Milky Way with her. He goes to the dark sky reserve they had talked about, and she meets him there. Using her phone's translation app, she tells him how much she missed him. She's even bought a bouquet of clovers. Ho-jin, for once, is lost for words. The episode ends as they kiss, and the observatory above them opens up to the stars.

This version captures the emotional turmoil and eventual reunion of Do Ho-jin and Mu-hee in a more vivid and expressive manner.
