The third episode of Cashero unfolds with the revelation that Sang-ung's power is being siphoned off into the wedding gift box when he uses it. He awakes in Ho-in's house, where we are introduced to the duo's unique abilities. Ho-in, a lawyer by day and an alcoholic by night, possesses the ability to walk through walls, while Eun-mi can move objects with her mind and is fueled by food. Sang-ung and Min-suk initially want to leave, unwilling to be associated with these 'supes,' but Ho-in reminds them that their house has been burned down. The mysterious hunters are the Mundane Vanguard - ordinary, wealthy individuals who seek to take down supes. The Jo family leads this organization and wields immense power and influence. Sang-ung is their next target.

The episode cuts to Jo Won-do informing his comatose father that he has found the man who hurt him. Won-do vows to destroy the culprit and then kills his father, before ordering his daughter, Anna, to bring Sang-ung at all costs.
Ho-in explains that he legally wants to take down the Vanguard and invites Sang-ung to join them. Initially resistant, Sang-ung agrees after realizing that his departure is impossible due to the destruction of his home. The cops canvas the hotel, finding Sang-ung's coins and becoming confused. Although there is no CCTV, wedding guests have recorded videos of Sang-ung rescuing them. One video also captures Min-suk, and the lead detective wants to question her.
Sang-ung eventually agrees to join the supes, and his journey begins with Ho-in and Eun-mi training him. Eun-mi's brash demeanor annoys him, and he struggles to land a punch on Ho-in despite his superpower. Over time, the duo teaches him how to fight and grow stronger without relying on his superstrength.
This scenario is filled with suspense, intrigue, and a touch of humor as the characters navigate their unique abilities and the dangers that lie ahead. The transformation of Sang-ung from a reluctant participant to a skilled fighter is a highlight of the episode, as he learns to harness his powers in new ways. The relationship between Ho-in and Eun-mi adds depth to the story, showcasing their unique personalities and the bond they share as fellow supes.
Next, Ho-in whispers his strategy to Sang-ung—a plan involving sabotage and gathering evidence against the Mundane Vanguard. To conceal his identity, Sang-ung donns a mask and tighty-whities to keep the coins from falling out. He acts annoyed on the surface but secretly, he prepares and dishes out a beating to the bullies from his neighborhood. He feels a sense of satisfaction and even goes as far as returning the PS5 to the seller who was robbed. Jeong-ja watches from afar and finds it amusing.
Min-suk catches wind of Sang-ung's antics but decides to support him. She's handling the money for the apartment by taking up a second job. She's won the newlywed lottery as she filed their marriage forms, which means they are now officially married. And she'll be giving Sang-ung an allowance so he can train his superpower. In the end, she even gives him extra money for "services," and they have a fun night together, with him using his superpower in the bedroom.
Under pressure from her father, Jo Anna vents her frustrations on the lead doctor, Su-yeon. The super-amped bodyguard is barely alive after taking a punch from Sang-ung, and Anna forces Su-yeon to inject him with another dose.
It's time for the first mission—carrying briquettes to poor, old people. Sang-ung grumbles but manages to pull through without using his power. It's also a front to meet Old Man Do, an elderly superhero with a gift of seeing the future. However, his gift is powered by his memories, which means he can barely remember the past. He has a terrifying prophecy of Sang-ung losing his "shine" unless he risks his life. He then foresees a bomb—the Mundane Vanguard has found Sang-ung's location.
Suddenly, the alley is surrounded by Vanguard members. Ho-in orders Sang-ung to run while he, Eun-mi, and Old Man Do hold off the Vanguard. But Sang-ung changes his mind as he sees them getting overpowered. He calls Jeong-ja and promises anything in exchange for a loan. She smiles and then tells her new hire that she just spoke to her future son-in-law. And the new hire is Min-suk!
Back to the fight, Anna shows up and goads the trio. Old Man Do sees her future, claiming that a cruel bastard will return, she will lose her home, and her gun will cause her death. Furious, she shoots at him but Sang-ung shows up and stops the bullet with Jeong-ja's money.
Anna smirks and the fight resumes. Old Man Do, Eun-mi, and Ho-in battle against the Vanguard while Sang-ung fights the bodyguard who is all juiced up. By the end, Sang-ung is left with only a little cash. He grabs the bodyguard and they both fall off a cliff into a fiery smoke.
