Using this as leverage, Sang-ung fights off Nathan's men and So-yeon while Ho-in and Eun-mi escape to safety. However, Nathan remains standing, but before Sang-ung can take him down, his powers suddenly stop working. He faints and wakes up in Hwang's car, powerless and disoriented.
Hwang advises him to stay out of trouble, reminding him that using other people's money has caused his powers to fade. Sang-ung shares his theory that Nathan is planning to sell pills that grant temporary superpowers, but Hwang dismisses it, stating that bad guys have always done evil things and it's not Sang-ung's job to stop them. Ho-in divulges that Min-suk is being held captive at Beomha Logistics, a seemingly impregnable fortress. He suggests devising a meticulous plan, but Sang-ung, unwilling to wait, decides to act immediately, not wanting to risk Min-suk's life.
The following day, Sang-ung embarks on a solo mission to Beomha Logistics. It is then that he fully comprehends his father's mindset - that protecting someone and fighting for what's right is more significant than material wealth. With a newfound resolve, he leaps from the rooftop of the building.
