In episode 8 of Cashero, Eun-mi and Ho-in show up uninvited to help Sang-ung, whose powers have mysteriously returned. They enter Beomha Logistics to confront the Mundane Vanguard. However, Sang-ung soon runs out of funds, and Nathan, who has been secretly manipulating him, reveals his true colors. He has planted a bomb in the building's elevator, threatening to trap and kill Min-suk if Sang-ung doesn't surrender his powers.

Ho-in tries to intervene, but in the ensuing chaos, Sang-ung drags Nathan into the elevator with him. Min-suk begs him to stop, but Sang-ung is only relieved that he was able to save her. As the elevator begins to move, Sang-ung detonates the bomb, sacrificing himself and Nathan in the process.
The aftermath is bleak, with news reports detailing mass hallucinations and aggressive behavior among customers who have taken Beomha's new drug. Ho-in consoles a grieving Min-suk, telling her that it's not the end. Detective Hwang has the power to turn back time. At the same time, Anna raids Ho-in's office and learns of Hwang's power.
Anna's men, Su-yeon and Min-suk, all arrive at the precinct. Su-yeon helps fend off Anna's men, telling Min-suk that she is going to the past as well. Min-suk finds Hwang and begs him to help. He initially believes that meddling with the past will only lead to worse results. She counters that they are all selfish, but the kind-hearted Sang-ung doesn't deserve to die just because he is selfless. And she is ready to bear the cost – whoever goes to the past, their life expectancy shortens.
Hwang is convinced and sends Min-suk back to the moment before the bomb detonates. She puts money in Sang-ung's hand, and the bomb explodes. Her memories are erased, and in the new present, Sang-ung survives. But so does Nathan, thanks to Su-yeon's meddling. The story leaves us with a sense of hope and uncertainty about what the future holds for our characters.
Nathan's ultimate goal was to eliminate Anna and Won-do. However, the plan quickly unraveled as Anna shot him, only for So-yeon to block the bullet, causing it to ricochet and hit Anna. In the chaos, Nathan killed Anna while Jeong-ja kidnapped Won-do. Realizing his own vulnerability with dwindling adrenaline and severe injuries, Nathan demanded Su-yeon inject him with all his remaining superpower ampoules. Undeterred, he persisted in his quest for Sang-ung.
To test his newfound powers, Nathan killed So-yeon and went on a destructive rampage. He attacked an apartment complex, where Sang-ung arrived in the nick of time to save a little girl. Sang-ung tried to reason with Nathan but failed, prompting him to resolve to end Nathan's reign of terror. Ho-in and Eun-mi joined the fight, only to be knocked out by Nathan's power.
As the battle dragged on, Sang-ung's resources dwindled, and Nathan gloated that no one would come to his aid. But the little girl, moved by compassion, threw some money, inspiring others to join the fight. Even Min-suk and the police arrived, throwing money to help Sang-ung power up. Sang-ung was touched and began to cry.
Eun-mi, who had been unconscious, heard Hwa-jin's voice and woke up to find bread from a new brand called "Bun & Mi." Hwang gave Ho-in alcohol and encouraged him to take care of his health. Nathan mocked the cheesy gesture but Sang-ung noted that it came with the territory of being a hero. Suddenly, Eun-mi and Ho-in trapped Nathan while Sang-ung punched him.
Nathan was finally defeated for good. Jeong-ja exposed Won-do's embezzlement and corruption, leading to his trial. The police noticed that Hwang had a new watch, signaling that he had left his old, broken watch in the past and embraced his power. Eun-mi learned that Hwa-jin was the owner of Bun & Mi, and they had a tearful reunion. Ho-in was trying to reconnect with his daughter, who was upset by his drinking but still wanted to get to know him.
Min-suk and Sang-ung finally bought their new apartment, where Min-suk shared her news that she was pregnant. They vowed to work hard to provide their child with a good life. The story ended with a sense of hope and redemption for all the characters involved.
