In the opening of Episode 7 of Citadel Season 2, Orlick and his team arrive to find a dead mason and an unconscious Nadia in the car. They rush Nadia inside and attend to her wounds while Orlick investigates the scene. As the pieces come together, Nadia confirms that Abby was the one who killed Mason and that she was the assassin.
The scene shifts to Abby killing two journalists and taking their media badges to gain access to the G8 summit.

Does Abby complete her mission? The answer is yes. She manages to get inside and take over a sniper's position, eliminating one of the guards. Meanwhile, Orlick devises a plan to stop her, with Nadia insisting on accompanying him. Orlick had previously spoken with Frank, his trusted assassin, about the mission and asked him to complete it if anything went wrong. He also asked Frank to take care of his family if he died during the mission.
Meanwhile, Joanna deploys Aparna to prevent Orlick and his team from reaching Abby, promising to kill her if she fails. Frank attacks a police officer manning the area and takes his uniform, while the rest use a fake CIA clearance to get inside. Despite Aparna's efforts to stop them, she is overpowered, and Hutch and Celine stay behind to fight her while Nadia rushes to Abby's position.
Dahlia contacts Malcolm, the trustee of Braga's estate, and threatens to kill his daughter unless he transfers everything to her. Meanwhile, Joanna observes the arrival of the Russian president from her hotel room window without realizing that Orlick is making his way to her. He takes out several of her bodyguards before she realizes what is happening.
Nadia confronts Abby and kills her after she refuses to give up the mission. The team regroups at their hideout, where Nadia is heartbroken to learn that Orlick had known about Abby being the assassin but had kept it a secret from her. In the end, Mason dies, and she had to kill Abby, only for Frank to kill the president on Orlick's orders.
Orlick tries to explain the big picture: they can now control the satellites after making a deal with the new president. He promises they can use the satellite to destroy Manticore. Nadia walks away, and the others prepare to leave. The episode ends with a sense of uncertainty and impending doom as the characters grapple with their roles in this dangerous game of power and control.
As the second season of Citadel draws to a close, Orlick, Frank, Hutch, and Celine embark on a private jet to find Dahlia waiting for them. She's elated to hear that Joanna is no more. With the Braga fortune acquired from Malcom, Orlick makes a new pact with the new Russian president, offering him a staggering 24 billion dollars for the satellites. Once the deal is sealed, Orlick commands Celine to destroy the satellites, ensuring that no one holds such immense power. They watch in silence as the satellites explode, their debris hurtling down like celestial meteors.
Two months later, Orlick meets with Nadia at Mason and Abby's gravesites. He pleads with her to work with him for one last time, but she firmly refuses. Her resolve to protect her daughter is unwavering. Despite Orlick's warnings about the impending danger, she remains steadfast in her refusal. Instead, she provides him with the names of the remaining Citadel operatives who can help bring Manticore to its knees.
The season concludes with Nadia breaking into Aparna's house and holding her at gunpoint, demanding a conversation. The tension is palpable as the two stand face-to-face, each holding their own secrets and agendas. This climactic moment leaves us on the edge of our seats, wondering what will happen next in the world of Citadel.
