Sadly, the narrative takes a tragic turn as Jae-oh's fate is sealed. The scene skips ahead to Jae-oh being brutally beaten by Do-hyuk's men, their words echoing Do-hyuk's order for Jae-oh's demise. As Jae-oh reflects on his cherished memories with Ah-jin, they toss him over the side of the building.

After Jae-oh's death, their team leader seizes his phone for safekeeping, unaware that it continues to record. Both Jun-seo and Ah-jin receive a message from Jae-oh, containing a link to the video file from the rooftop.

Jun-seo hurries over to Jae-oh's workplace, where Ahn Do-kang is in deep distress over Jae-oh's passing. He reveals that Jae-oh instructed him to give Jun-seo the original SD card with the video and the burner phone that has access to the spyware on Jae-oh's phone. As dawn broke, Ah-jin conspired to clear the household staff from the premises, leaving her alone with Moon Do-hyuk. She presented him with a video that exposed his goons confessing to their involvement in the order for Jae-oh's demise, followed by the very act of Jae-oh's murder. Moreover, she testified to having witnessed Do-hyuk's direct order for Jae-oh's death herself. It seemed that Do-hyuk was now compelled to heed her demands.

Jun-seo reached out to Ah-jin via a phone call, inquiring about her actions. She explained that Jae-oh had sacrificed his life willingly, allowing her to act as a leash on Do-hyuk's actions. He questioned whether this would be her final act of defiance, but she adamantly stated that it couldn't be.

Following this exchange, Jun-seo reached out to the earlier producer, Han Ji-gyu, inquiring about the ongoing offer for a documentary on Ah-jin. Then, Jun-seo approached Do-hyuk and unveiled that he possessed additional videos, obtained through a spyware on Jae-oh's phone. He used this new evidence as a threat, warning Do-hyuk to stay away from Ah-jin. He proclaimed that he himself would be the one to bring an end to Ah-jin's quest, not Do-hyuk.

As Jun-seo's relentless pursuit of Ah-jin reaches its climax, it becomes a race against time to determine if she can halt her relentless climb to the top. Meanwhile, Ah-jin's film 'Amen to Nothing' soars to new heights, propelling her to international acclaim and the pinnacle of her career. The news reports drown in a sea of adoration, with Ah-jin readying for the prestigious Blue Dragon Awards, her arrival on the red carpet greeted by thunderous cheers.

The event unfolds, and Ah-jin is crowned Best Actress, her acceptance speech intertwined with the release of a documentary on her life by Han Ji-gyu and Jun-seo. The documentary, airing on a different channel, exposes the truth about her character through the eyes of Sung-hee, the server from Jung-ho's coffee shop, Heo In-gang's brother, and even the cop who investigated her father's case. As the documentary goes viral, the once-thunderous applause becomes muted, reflecting the shift in public sentiment.

Ah-jin, stunned by the revelation, hurries off stage to find the staff members watching the documentary. She arrives in time to see Jun-seo on screen, describing the fateful night when he found her with a bat after her father's death. The chase is on as Jun-seo runs out of the hall and onto the streets, eventually finding Jun-seo waiting in his car.

As they speed away from the scene, Jun-seo explains his realization that she would never change and that he had to stop her. She laments that she has nowhere to turn now, and he reveals his ultimate confession - that he loves her - before driving off a cliff. The news reports are filled with shock and sorrow as Jun-seo dies on impact, while Ah-jin is missing.

Back home, Ji-sun reads a heartbreaking goodbye note from Jun-seo, who still carries a heavy burden of unforgiveness. He has also removed all the photographs of himself from the photo albums, leaving behind a painful reminder of their shared past and unfinished story.

Is Baek Ah-jin truly gone? For Do-hyuk, the whispers from his community echo that there's no sign of Ah-jin's existence. He then catches a glimpse of a follow-up on Producer Han Ji-gyu's program, a CCTV video that captures Ah-jin stumbling out of the car crash. Yet, the hunt for her continues without any other concrete leads.

The scene shifts to a serene columbarium, where an urn stands as a poignant reminder of Ah-jin's absence. A woman lays a white rose by her photograph and walks away, leaving behind a whisper of memories. A flashback then transports us back to the harrowing car crash. As the episode draws to a close, Ah-jin wakes up, her determination unbroken even as Jun-seo, heavily injured, tries to deter her. She climbs up the rocks, turning around to gaze at the car, her resolve unyielding in the face of adversity.
