Delhi Crime – Season 3 Episode 2 1

Meanwhile, at the hospital, the doctor and Neeti address the media on Baby Noor's recovery progress and the arrest of the perpetrator who assaulted the infant. At the police station, Vimla conducts a meticulous interrogation with Khushi, but the young girl remains tight-lipped about Rahul's involvement. Neeti and Devinder meet to finalize their divorce proceedings while sharing their past hurts.

Vartika makes a surprise appearance at the station and reconnects with her former colleagues. She learns about the Baby Noor case and firmly believes that Khushi is too young to be Noor's mother. John makes a call to Didi, ordering the dispatch of 40 girls for sex work abroad, which Didi readily accepts. Vartika and Bhupinder race against time to track down the van that transported the girls, eventually discovering that Rahul rented it. Vartika concludes that the Baby Noor case and inter-state trafficking cases are intertwined, while Rahul attempts to flee to Nepal as the cops close in on him.

Vartika approaches Neeti about collaborating on these cases and persuades her to speak with Khushi in an effort to elicit information from her. Elsewhere, Kalyani leads Sonam and others to meet Didi. Kusum, Didi's assistant, inquires about the 10 missing girls, prompting Kalyani to reveal that a determined cop, Vartika Chaturvedi, is on their trail. Didi urges caution, noting Vartika's reputation, and then manipulates the girls into believing their past lives were tainted, encouraging them to earn money for their families and follow her orders.

As the narrative unfolds, Vartika engages in a heart-wrenching conversation with Khushi, delving into the depths of their shared trauma involving Baby Noor. Vartika's desperate claim that Noor is on the brink of death and yearns for her mother is met with a shocking revelation from Khushi: Kalyani, a woman, had entrusted Noor to Rahul.

Khushi, visibly torn, confesses that she, not Rahul, was the one who inflicted the initial assault on the helpless infant. Noor's incessant crying and the infant's unexpected bite on her face had driven Khushi to a state of frenzy. In an attempt to cleanse her own wounds, Khushi inadvertently dropped Noor, resulting in the devastating head injury. Her hurried dash to the hospital is evidence of her remnants of humanity.

Meanwhile, Neeti and Bhupinder's relentless pursuit leads to Kalyani's arrest, who attempts to wield her power through tantrums. Her incarceration prompts Rahul to seek refuge at his ex-lover Safia's abode. However, Safia's cooperation with the authorities results in Rahul's subsequent arrest, leaving him to face the music in police custody.

During interrogation, Rahul's reluctance to divulge further details prompts Vartika to pivot her questions towards Kalyani's illicit brothel operation. Neeti, relentless in her pursuit of the truth, interrogates Kalyani about Noor's mother. Kalyani, in a fit of denial and defiance, calls upon Didi for legal representation, revealing her arrest to her sister in a desperate plea. Didi promises to secure a lawyer for Kalyani's defense.

The hearing concludes with Vartika's statement, and the judge orders Kalyani's continued detention for three days while Vartika is tasked with gathering evidence of Kalyani's involvement. Yet, as the episode ends with Vartika exiting the sessions court, two armed individuals execute their gruesome act—murdering Kalyani in broad daylight. The narrative closes with a sense of foreboding and unrest as the intricate web of deceit and violence continues to unravel.
