Episode 6 of "Echoes of the Past" kicks off with a haunting flashback to Sawsan and her lover, her fury palpable as she harbors grudges against Nadia and her menacing threats. Her boyfriend, sensing her overbearing nature, confronts her, urging her to let Ali and Nadia be if their love is genuine. Unamused and frustrated, Sawsan storms back to Yassin, disguised as a gesture of reconciliation and plotting in secret. She manipulates him into dealing with Nadia, insisting that neither Ali's marriage nor his offspring should be hers to claim.
In the present timeline, Yehia finds himself striving to detach from Layla, driven by a steadfast resolve not to let anything detract him from his ultimate goal. Memories of how he compromised his integrity by accepting Yassin's bribe flood his mind, leaving him with a deep sense of regret. Meanwhile, Layla, seeking to soothe his troubled spirit, is interrupted by a sudden call from Mona, who insists on an immediate meeting. Yehia's expression darkens upon learning of this unforeseen twist.
Mona, who enjoys a cordial relationship with Ali and Sawsan, refuses to be confined within the four walls of her home. Her revelation that Yassin was aware of Nadia's pregnancy astounds Ali, stirring a cocktail of emotions within him. During her meeting with Layla, Mona confesses that her return was motivated by genuine concern for her friend. Aware of Layla's collaboration with Yehia, Mona warns her to cease, arguing that the truth hidden in Layla's missing memories might be far more sinister than she could fathom. However, Mona offers a glimmer of hope: she promises to unveil the truth if Layla accompanies her away from the impending danger. Layla, agreeing, is shattered when Mona drops the bombshell – Yassin is the perpetrator. Desperate to alert Yehia, Layla's calls fall on deaf ears as he fails to answer.
Elsewhere, Fatla informs Maldini of the unfolding drama and seeks out Yehia, his anger on Maldini's behalf smoldering like an ember. Yet, beneath his stern exterior, there's a layer of care for Yehia, evident in a flashback where Maldini shields Yehia from harm within the confines of a prison cell. Maldini, eavesdropping on the conversation, is visibly saddened by the revelations, his heart heavy with unspoken emotions.
In the meantime, Ali extends his proposal to Michael and promptly dials Sherif's number, hoping to forge a partnership between them. However, Sherif declines, driven by a personal quest for self-discovery. To Ali's misfortune, Yassin learns of the situation and counteracts with an enticing offer that Michael eagerly embraces. Further compounding Ali's woes, Yassin suspects him of aiding Yehia amidst the barricade chaos. Not only does he terminate Ali's employment, but he also bars him from the premises.
Turning to Mona, she happens to grab Layla's phone just as Yehia sends her a chilling image of a blade. Followed by a voice note, Yehia convicts Mona in his mind as the perpetrator. She barely has a moment to process his accusation before Yassin arrives unexpectedly. His sole intention is to reconnect with his daughter, but he's taken aback by her icy demeanor.
Fed up with his duplicity, Mona unleashes a torrent of emotions, enumerating the reasons for her aversion towards him. She confides that Yehia was the only one who ever truly understood her, and their love was torn apart by Yassin's interference. A revelation dawns upon her: Yassin's actions were not motivated by a desire to separate her from Yehia; rather, he was oblivious to the hurt he inflicted upon her, failing to acknowledge her existence in the first place.
Back at their home, Layla is busy packing her bag while Ali inquiries about the barricade incident. She confirms his suspicion, revealing that she had accompanied Yehia to uncover the truth. Ali too expresses his desire to know the facts and is devastated when Layla informs him that their father is the killer.
Meanwhile, Yehia tracks Mona down and launches an attack on her, mistakenly believing her to be the murderer. He tries to choke her, but fails. Mona insists on her innocence, claiming she didn't kill Nadia, and Yehia realizes that she knows the true culprit.
Just then, Khaled arrives at the hotel. It transpires that Maldini had given Khaled the wrong meeting spot out of loyalty to Fatla. In a fit of rage, Khaled tortured Maldini until he spilled the beans. Ashamed of his betrayal, Maldini alerts Fatla, who is waiting nearby.
Maldini warns Fatla, who is then stabbed by an unexpected assailant. Yehia joins the fray, and a fierce battle erupts. Suddenly, a sprinkler system activates,喷洒出水花, causing guests to scatter in chaos. As Echoes of the Past Episode 6 draws to a close, Khaled shoots Fatla and flees the scene. Yehia screams out for Fatla, but vanishes as security personnel arrive on the scene.
