Dawn breaks, finding Raquel on her way to the sanctuary of her mother's home, seeking refuge from the storm brewing in her life. Tere joins her, offering a comforting presence as German's voice echoes through an unanswered voicemail, a confession of sorts: he once supplied Viruca with cocaine, the words heavy with the weight of secrets.

Flashing back, we witness German's world unraveling at work, his boss's rebukes raining down upon him. It's then that Viruca saunters in, her presence a ray of unexpected sunshine amidst the gloom. She propositions him for a deal, their conversation peppered with nostalgia for their shared hot spring escapades. Desperate for funds, Viruca delves deeper, manipulating German's vulnerabilities, introducing Tomas as a potential accomplice in his illicit transactions. This revelation casts a sinister shadow over the restaurant, dragging Demetrio unwittingly into the web of deceit and intrigue.

As they were introduced to Ferreiro, a potential ally in constructing a resort near the alluring hot springs, Demetrio entrusted Viruca with a plastic wallet bulging with cash, his plea resounding with urgency: not to disappoint them. Ironically, it seemed as if Viruca's sole purpose was to do precisely that. Failing to materialize at the appointed time, sans funds or a license, the duo now finds themselves perilously indebted to formidable forces.

Later that evening, German corners Viruca, interrogating her about the missing money, which she insists has been delivered to the appropriate hands. Their exchange is fraught with suspicion and discomfort, leaving one to ponder the authenticity of her words.

Meanwhile, in the present narrative, Raquel delves into her mother's cupboard, unearthing a solitary vial of morphine amidst the clutter. This solitary find strikes her as eerie, given her mother's fragile state. Amidst reflections by the sea, her thoughts are abruptly interrupted by a desperate call from Roi, beseeching her aid.

Without hesitation, Raquel rushes back, encountering Roi by the roadside, visibly shaken. His confession reveals a chaotic night at Nerea's, where Iago's reckless indulgence in cocaine and alcohol spun wildly out of control. Yet, the evening's descent into chaos escalated further when the trio's drunken antics blurred into a tangle of kisses and undressing.

Roi abruptly halted in his tracks, only to stumble upon a webcam, its red light blinking, capturing every moment of their ordeal. It dawned on them that Iago's sinister plan was to infiltrate Raquel's digital space, planting the footage as evidence of child pornography, a heinous accusation aimed at destroying her. But the revelation was merely the tip of the iceberg.

Roi's confession sliced through the air like a dagger, revealing the trio's collusion—Iago, Nerea, and himself—in orchestrating the initial video's delivery and subsequent blackmail. Raquel's disgust was palpable, her repulsion turning into a cold refusal when Roi pleaded for her assistance in tracing Viruca's whereabouts, convinced she'd met with foul play. She cut him off, slamming the car door shut behind him.

Returning to a home that bore the scars of a ruthless search, Raquel found Viruca's phone abandoned where she'd left it, a stark reminder that someone was desperate for its contents. To compound her fears, her beloved dog was nowhere to be seen, vanished without a trace.

German's unexpected arrival brought with it a confession that weighed heavily on Raquel's heart. He admitted to aiding her mother's peaceful passing, a task he'd undertaken at her mother's request, yet one that left him wracked with guilt. The morphine-filled box he'd provided now served as a bitter reminder of that fateful decision. Raquel's disgust mirrored his own sense of moral turpitude.

As they embarked on a desperate search for the missing canine, tensions flared between them. Raquel's confession—an affair with Simon, used as a weapon to coerce her—hung heavy in the air, threatening to ignite an explosive confrontation. But their anger was momentarily quelled by Nanook's pained whimpers, leading them to her lifeless form, drenched in blood and beyond saving.

At the vet's office, the stark reality of their loss was confirmed, their hearts heavy with grief as they faced the irreparable loss of their beloved companion.
