Finding Her Edge – Season 1 Episode 7 1

Meanwhile, Camille realizes that Will has yet to book the team's flights, and the financial situation has worsened without private sponsors. She urges him to do whatever it takes to take the team to Paris.

At school, Maria opts to skip her last practice with Charlie to hang out with her school friends. Charlie persistently tries to reach her, but she ignores his calls and messages.

At the rink, Freddie's focus is disrupted by the sudden arrival of his mother. Despite her attempts to plead her case, he sends her away.

Brayden thanks Adriana for being his partner and they visit a music store, continuing their façade of a fake relationship. Their outing is cut short when the store owner informs them about an impending storm. They head back to the rink to practice, but unfortunately, due to Freddie's lack of focus, an accident occurs. Adriana hurts her hand trying to soften Freddie's fall.

Elsewhere, Will decides to sell the gold medals he and his wife own to pay for the Paris tickets. Michael uses this opportunity to demean him and buy the gold medals for less than their worth. After his meeting with Michael, Will runs into Michelle, who invites him to dinner.

At the house, Elise takes care of Adriana's injury, allowing them an opportunity to make up. Afterwards, Elise calls Will, interrupting his dinner with Michelle. She informs him of the incoming storm and that Maria is missing. Before he can head out to look for Maria, they lose power at the house.

Elise, upon finding Maria socializing with her friends, erupts in anger towards her. Maria, feeling the weight of her words, reveals a desire for more than just ice skating in her life—she yearns for a normal childhood, where she can attend school with her friends instead of endlessly practicing at the rink. Elise is left confused and perplexed by Maria's confession.

Meanwhile, Brayden checks in on Adriana, relieved to find her unharmed. Will also arrives and promptly checks on Adriana. Later, Adriana checks in on Freddie, and the two embark on a nostalgic conversation. Adriana encourages Freddie to give his mother a second chance after learning about her visit. As they talk, Adriana instinctively starts kissing his wounds, leading to an almost-kiss moment that is abruptly halted by Will's bedtime call.

Camille consoles Will and commends Elise for her handling of the crisis. The following morning, Adriana helps Freddie reconnect with his mother, who decides to give him a second chance to be there for him as a mom. Unfortunately, due to a storm, the team's flight is canceled. Will and Camille work tirelessly to find alternative transportation. While they wait, Maria confides in Charlie that she wants to quit ice skating, much to his confusion and hurt.

In the meantime, the others engage in a game of truth or dare. Adriana and Freddie step out for a while, during which Freddie is confessing his undying love to Adriana. Adriana kisses him right before Elise interrupts them. It turns out that Camille and Will have figured something out, and they must leave abruptly. Adriana finds herself in an awkward position, caught between Freddie and Brayden's affections.

The story unfolds with each character grappling with their emotions and desires, creating a dynamic and engaging narrative that keeps the reader engaged throughout.
