Meanwhile, Jim, Tabitha, and Ethan begin investigating their situation, inscribing their queries on the walls of their makeshift abode.

The following day, Nathan approaches Sara, but she assures him she's fine. Secretly, she heads to Matthew's house, armed with a scalpel she'd stolen from the clinic.

Elsewhere, Fatima and Ellis escort Julie to a secluded lake, introducing her to the town's hidden gems. Jade wanders the streets, carrying a radio, and eventually finds his way to a bar. He discusses his quest to discover their location, believing it's the first step towards finding a way home.

Nathan sets out to locate Father Khatri, while Boyd speaks tenderly to his wife's grave. He begs for a sign, sharing his concerns about his worsening hand tremor and his potential plan to bring everyone home. He warns that if his plan fails, their situation may become even more dire.

Nathan finds Father Khatri and presumably confesses the details Sara had disclosed to him.

Outside Ethan's home, Sara plays with him innocently. Then, she lures Ethan and Tabitha to the barn, promising to show them the animals. Sara reveals that the town is riddled with hiding places and leads Tabitha into the barn's depths to demonstrate. Once inside, Sara traps Tabitha in a hidden compartment and advances towards Ethan, scalpel in hand.

Nathan rushes in to distract Sara, allowing Ethan to flee. A fierce struggle erupts between Sara and Nathan, ending with Sara accidentally slashing Nathan's throat, killing him.

Ethan rushes off to find Julie, while Jim frees Tabitha from the barn. However, Sara escapes into the dense woods.

Tabitha adds another question to the wall: "Did we survive the crash?"

At the diner, Boyd reassures Kristi that Sara's actions were not her fault. As they converse, the jukebox on their table suddenly plays, providing Boyd with the sign he had been waiting for.
