Furies: Resistance – Season 2 Episode 5 1

She calls Niko for help and he directs her to an underground doctor hidden inside a theatre. Lyna pushes Oz, who is bleeding out, all the way to the theatre and uses the secret code to gain entry. Meanwhile, Niko has hidden Amytis and Leon on a boat, a secret location unknown even to Selma.

Selma continues her relentless hunt, starting at Amytis's apartment but finding it empty. She sends out members of the resistance to search the town on foot and around all police stations. She knows that Lyna is cunning and well-trained, so they must be extra vigilant.

At the police station, Eli emerges from the shower to find a text from Lyna. He tries calling back but gets no response. Iris is tailing him, pretending to be on his side to get her location. However, Eli remains suspicious of Tossar and trusts Iris with his life.

Lyna notices that something is interfering with the electronics at the doctor's office and realizes that Oz has a tracker. She leaves the watch behind, so when Varda and his men follow, they'll find the watch but Oz is already gone. Lyna shares her location with Elis, and Iris wants to follow him but is left behind as backup in case he needs help. Iris alerts Varda, telling him to follow Elis, who will lead them to Lyna.

Meanwhile, Lyna finds an abandoned building to hide out and wait for Elis, as it's too dangerous to be wandering around. Unbeknownst to her, one of Rosie's men saw her and has sent her location.

Inside, Oz attempts to sow discord between Lyna and Selma by revealing a surprising encounter he once had with Lyna's birth mother while Selma was hot on her heels, determined to finish the job after she had killed her entire family. He insists that Selma is not one to leave a mission unfinished, leading her to believe that she has already reached her mother. Just as their conversation reaches a climax, a knock on the door interrupts them. Elis appears, followed shortly by Selma and the resistance. Oz gives her the car keys to deliver him to the police station while he lures Selma away from the group.

Lyna tries to take care of Selma, but Elis insists that he came for her because he wants her back, and their only chance is to deliver Oz. He urges her to call Iris for help, assuring her that she can trust her. The Damocles show up, giving Lyna a chance to escape during the shootout and call Iris.

Meanwhile, Niko and Simon work together to rescue the children locked up by the Damocles. Rosie and Selma choose to work together to deliver Oz to The Carny. Lyna reaches Iris with Oz. Before Iris can take care of her, Tossar and his team arrive, arresting Oz and pardoning Lyna. Tossar sternly warns her to leave his town and never return. Elie offers to drive her to her mother's apartment.

Iris takes Oz to the roof, revealing that she is the little girl Oz had kidnapped 30 years ago in Sarajevo. Oz believes he gave her a life, a mission, and a purpose, but Iris feels that he gave her to a group of bastards who beat her when she refused to obey. She was just a child and thinks no child should have to go through what she did. Iris wants freedom to live the life she wants, and Selma promised her that. She takes Oz to the roof under Selma's orders, allowing her to kill him.

The resistance storms HQ and kills the Damocles, taking back Paris. Elis drives Lyna to meet up with Amytis, Leon, and Niko. They need to leave and get as far away from Selma as possible. Just then, Simon shows up, bleeding out. It turns out that Selma did not release the kids but intended to use them against the clan leaders. Simon was against it, and Selma just shot him despite being loyal for 20 years. Lyna is furious, and Simon hands her his gun, letting her deal with Selma as she wishes.
