The finale reveals that Selma's ambition went beyond just Oz's demise and the destruction of the Damocles. She yearned to hand over Paris' criminal underground to The Carny and the resistance, becoming the queen of the underground. She no longer believed in the Furies' original purpose: maintaining peace, upholding justice, and preventing crime lords from warring by taking orders from others. Instead, she wanted to be at the helm, controlling everything.

To achieve this, Selma has been orchestrating events in the shadows. To gain The Carny's support and that of the resistance, she sent her people to attack their underground businesses, making it seem like the Damocles were responsible. She manipulated The Carny by acting obedient and submissive, feeding his ego and lowering his guard. She even used his own daughter against him, recording their conversations where he talked her down. In the final episode, Rosie kills him.

She leveraged Simon's loyalty to deliver the children of the crime families to her. In reality, she never intended to let them go but used them as leverage to control the crime leaders and ensure they followed her lead. Selma would not let anyone stand in her way to power, including Simon.

She also dismantled the Damocles from within by making Varda and Iris deals they couldn't resist. Varda secured a seat at the table, while Iris gained her freedom. In the end, she emerged as the powerful ruler of the criminal underworld.

When Lyna tried to stop her, she suffered the same fate as her father, Driss, as she was captured and taken away to be held prisoner.

Elie feels betrayed as Oz's death places Lyna on the wanted list, complicating their chances of getting back together. Determined to confront the suspected mole, Tossar, Elie sets off. However, a call en route reveals that Tossar wasn't the one who killed Denon; it was Iris. When they meet, Iris tries to explain, but Elie doesn't give her a chance.

To protect herself, Iris frames Elie as the mole. She had already set a plan in motion, sending incriminating evidence to Tossar. With this and the fact that his card was used to lure Oz to the roof, Elie becomes a wanted corrupt cop. He has no choice but to flee from the police station, becoming a fugitive like Lyna. He heads back to the boat where Niko, Amytis, and Leon anxiously await news from Lyna.

After being shot by Selma, Simon seeks help from Niko and Lyna. Niko calls an underground doctor from the theatre, but he only manages to remove two bullets. Simon needs medical attention or he will bleed out, but he refuses, preferring to die rather than go to prison. Even after pleading with Niko to take him out of Paris to a place where he could see the stars for the last time and die in peace, Niko admits him to the hospital when he falls unconscious. Niko promises that once he recovers, he'll find a way out. Due to the risk of arrest, Niko leaves Simon to receive the care he needs and returns to the boat.

After confronting Selma, Lyna engages in a fierce battle but is ultimately defeated. Realizing that Lyna will never submit or accept her new plans, Selma decides to send her into captivity like her father, Driss. Lyna is driven out of the city but things change when someone comes to her rescue in her grandfather's modified car.

In a car crash, Lyna crawls out as Orso appears and kills the driver. It turns out that Orso came to her rescue under the orders of Lyna's long-lost mother, Kahina. At the end of the episode, mother and daughter reunite.
