Gangs of Galicia – Season 2 Episode 1 1

While at work, Ana stumbles upon an article about Daniel's release. As she heads to lunch, she notices the same two men from earlier still watching her. She calls her mother, instructing her to pick up Sara from school and retrieve their take-out bags from the house. The men continue to follow her, and she steals a bicycle to escape their gaze. Upon arriving home, her mother questions whether they will always have to live on the run. This prompts Ana to reflect and realize that her mother is correct. They cannot spend the rest of their lives in constant fear of the Colombians and the Padin family closing in on them. She decides it's time to take action and books a flight to Madrid.

In Galicia, Silva arrives to pick up Daniel from prison after his release. However, Daniel refuses to join him to see Padin, opting instead to go to Cambados with Nilo. Unbeknownst to them, they are being followed by the police. Fortunately, Daniel and Nilo are just taking the boat for a leisurely ride. The customs police find nothing on the boat when they return to port.

Later, Daniel and Nilo head out for lunch. Daniel explains that he needs to find Ana. The two private detectives they hired have found nothing. It turns out that Padin has also been looking for Ana and had similar results. Daniel believes that Ana never betrayed him, but Nilo is not convinced.

In Madrid, Ana secretly meets with Macario and tries to plead her case. Macario insists that she needs to pay back her dues. She agrees to work for them in return for her freedom, offering to launder their money legally.

Meanwhile, Padin runs into Berta in the hospital. She confronts him about the pain his illegal work has caused her family. She mentions that her granddaughter was also his blood, but Padin remains unconvinced. The scene then cuts to Laura still grieving for her child.

Later, Padin meets with Nilo and asks him for a favor. The conversation turns to Daniel and whether he will return to the family business. Padin is mildly worried but believes that Daniel will be back soon.

Outside the restaurant, a man receives a message and breaks into Berta's house. Meanwhile, Daniel is lost in thought, reminiscing about his time with Ana. He recalls the day he told her about his feelings for her, and the look of surprise and hurt that crossed her face.

The next day, he runs into Toño and his dad playing with his old friends. Paco jokes that Padin told him that Daniel graduated from college. Daniel joins them and plays a little. Padin is surprised that Daniel knows how to play. As they play, Padin notices Toño and Germán talking and smoking outside. Germán mentions that Daniel is to blame for the upcoming case against Toño, Nilo, and the others. He offers to hook Toño up with a new gig to help him save up for his stint in jail. Of course, Toño tells him off.

After the game, Padin asks Daniel to drive him home, and they argue about Daniel wanting to quit the family business. Padin blames Ana and insists that he will make her pay for betraying him. The issue of Ana's father comes up, and Padin doesn't apologise for killing him. As they argue, they notice they are being tailed. Padin orders Daniel to speed up and then suddenly pull up. The cops are caught off guard, but they also notice someone apart from them is tailing Daniel. They later realise that the guy works for the DEA.

Back in Madrid, Ana gets a call from Macario, who asks her to come to him. He makes it clear that she has no options. In Galacia, Padin invites Toño to the farm to ask what is happening with Germán. Toño comes clean and reports everything that Germán told him. They both believe that Germán and his men are testing the waters. Paco is disappointed to learn that Toño is not interested in the new gig but still thinks the plan will work out either way.

Meanwhile, Macario has one of his men pick up Ana in Ecuador. They take her to one of his factories. Macario reveals that he and his partners still have doubts about Ana. They brought her here to show her where all the magic happens. They want Anna to help them set up another lab in Colombia.

Back in Galicia, Daniel pays a visit to Laura to inquire whether she has been in touch with Ana. Laura finds it peculiar that he is asking her about her. She is taken aback when Daniel reveals that Ana is her half-sibling. In the meantime, Padin receives his test results from the hospital. Although he is in good health for his age, he requests the doctor to write him another report stating otherwise.

At the junkyard, the man who snuck into Laura's house brings one of her combs to Nilo. He calls Padin, who instructs him to keep it for a while and not to let anyone touch it.

Later, Padin meets with Macario, who reports two lost shipments. They argue about who is to blame. Macario shares his concern about Daniel's refusal to join the family business, speculating that he might have made a deal with the police to avoid jail time in the upcoming trial. The conversation shifts to Ana, and Macario says she might show up soon and surprise them.

At the restaurant, Berta insists that she had no idea who Ana was. Laura feels hurt that Ana lied to them like everyone else.

Surprisingly, before leaving town, Macario meets with Paco to discuss a new business venture. This is their first time working together, so trust is a bit shaky. However, Macario seems intrigued by what Paco has to offer.

Later, Macario calls Ana and says that he has set everything up for her to return to Galicia. She insists that she cannot work with the Padins, and Macario scoffed, saying: "Who said anything about the Padins?"

In this vividly described scenario, each action and interaction contributes to a rich tapestry of characters and their motivations, furthering the narrative and maintaining the original meaning while enhancing its expressiveness.
