In the opening scene of Episode 4 of Gangs of Galicia season 2, we see Laura rushing Berta to the hospital after her suicide attempt. Meanwhile, Macario's men bring Ana's mother to a parking lot to make a call to Ana. During the call, Ana tries to determine their location, but her mother has no clue where they are. She assures Ana that they are okay and hangs up before Ana can ask more questions.

On the other hand, Toño lays a trap for Germán, hoping to find out the truth about their stolen shipment. Germán says that it might take a while for his boss to trust Toño. He promises to talk to his boss and get back to him. After the meeting, Toño calls Padin and relays the information. They agree to be patient and wait for Germán to make the next move.
In the meantime, Paco visits his dad at the elderly home and jokes about Padin's situation with Daniel. The nurses at the home think Paco is a filial son, and it is a pity that his dad is sick. Elsewhere, Daniel asks Ana to reach out to the Colombians and insist they talk to Macario so she can know where Sara is.
At the prison, Samuel's lawyer shares the good news that Marco has agreed to testify. Samuel is not exactly happy to hear this, as he knows how things work with the Padins. He is sure that Marco will disappear before the trial.
At the hospital, Berta apologizes to Laura and admits that she made mistakes with Padin. Later, Laura runs into Padin and confronts him. Obviously, he shows no remorse. Instead, he mentions that Ana is in town.
After trying to get in touch with Pepe, Daniel and Nilo drop by his house. Daniel sneaks in and finds Pepe's lifeless body. Instead of calling the police, he and Nilo flee the scene.
He promptly reached out to Ana, who was engrossed in attempting to connect with the Colombians and investigating secluded residences where Macario could commence his fresh operation. Daniel requested a meeting to share the news of Pepe's demise. She proposed enlisting Nilo's help and approaching the police together. Daniel concurred, and their conversation shifted towards their strategy for what would transpire once the Colombians arranged a meeting with Ana. Daniel pledged to tail her and uncover the whereabouts of Sara. Unfortunately, the police had already arrived at the crime scene and retrieved CCTV footage depicting Daniel entering the house. Concurrently, Walter and Torres maintained their cards close to their chest.
At the elderly home, Paco grew suspicious of his father's nurse and requested her reassignment. He feared she might discover the documents he concealed in his father's room. Meanwhile, at the junkyard to fetch Nilo, the police arrived to apprehend Nilo and Daniel. Ana identified herself as their lawyer but was asked to wait until they were processed. Daniel signaled for her to let the matter be.
Ana attempted to reason with Torres, but the detective was unconvinced that Daniel and Nilo were merely on their way to turn themselves in. Unfortunately, Ana couldn't secure Daniel and Nilo's release. She couldn't request bail without the case being presented to the judge first. Daniel asked her to delay setting the plan in motion to meet with the Colombians. However, she insisted on proceeding regardless.
Meanwhile, Laura reaches out to Ana after acquiring her contact information from Padin. She requests a meeting at the hospital. Ana clarifies the situation and assures her that she had no malicious intent. Ana had only sought revenge, but things took a turn for the complicated when she fell in love with Daniel and bore his child. Laura instantly comprehends the situation upon seeing Sara's picture. She informs Ana about Padin's and Berta's affair and offers her assistance with whatever she's dealing with.
At the police station, Nilo and Daniel maintain their innocence regarding Pepe's death. Torres attempts to elicit a slip-up that could incriminate them, but her efforts prove futile.
In the meantime, Ana meets with Paco and his men in a secluded location. Predictably, Paco and his henchmen wear masks to conceal their identities. When Ana insists that she won't work unless she's allowed to see her family, Paco calls Macario. After the call, Paco orders Ana to place her phone and car keys in the trunk of the car and have one of his men drive her to an unknown destination.
