Meanwhile, Billy sets a grim example by leaving Faz, whom he dispatched in the previous episode, tied up and battered amidst the beer kegs now stationed inside the warehouse. Ed, distressed by the escalating violence, attempts to reason with Billy, but the momentum of events is unstoppable, akin to a runaway train.

Ed then calls Zeek, severely reprimanding him for failing to complete his assigned task. However, Zeek, currently out of town, refuses to comply with Ed's demands and abruptly hangs up, leaving a note behind. Later in the episode, Zeek slips this note under Marian's window, entrusted to her by an unknown source. Unwilling to let the matter rest, Ed resolves to track down Zeek personally. Little does he know, Zeek has embarked on a mission to locate his mother.

Elsewhere, Lale tends to Elliot's wounds and urges him to confer with Asif, given his alignment with the Dumani family. During this heartfelt conversation, Lale confesses her pivotal role in framing Elliot, motivated by her desire to shield her newborn son, whom she valiantly protected amidst life-threatening circumstances in episode five.

Henry engages in a discourse with the Mayor, who realizes that their proposal to decriminalize drugs will inadvertently empower the Dumani family. Simone, on the other hand, yearns for a fresh start, steadfastly refusing to succumb to the whims of the current gang lords and aspiring to forge a new order. This revelation is bound to clash with Asif's ambitions, prompting Henry to seek him out and apprise him of the unfolding developments.

Amidst the chaos, Simone receives a voicemail from Elliot, revealing that Henry has aligned himself with the Dumanis. Already on the scene, Lale and Elliot make their formidable presence undeniable. Lale successfully retrieves her baby, while Elliot trains his gun on Asif, poised for action. However, Asif proposes an alternative arrangement: he pledges to unveil the truth behind the fate of Elliot's wife and what transpired to her. But Lale, driven by an impetuous rage, chooses to slit Asif's throat, leaving him to perish on the spot.

With alarms blaring throughout the mansion, the duo is compelled to battle their way out amidst the pandemonium. As they make their way back to base, Elliot, in a rush to find Lale who had initially gone to confront Merwan, leaves the baby unattended in the car. To his shock, Merwan has aligned himself with Cornelius and Billy, both bent on revenge.

The duo ambushes Elliot, laying into him with brute force while Merwan demands Lale's departure, threatening to turn her over to the Wallace family if she doesn't comply. But Lale, in a moment eerily reminiscent of a harrowing scene from Daredevil in 2016, takes matters into her own hands. As Merwan tends to the baby, she savagely slams his head against the car door, repeating the blow until he is no more.

After perusing the contents of Zeek’s letter, Marian promptly dials Ed's number and decides to convene a meeting. However, her journey is interrupted by the unexpected appearance of Luan, who implores Marian to allow him to participate in their quest for retribution against Elliot. As word spreads, all the gangs converge, with Elliot being escorted in by the powerful bosses. Ed's immediate impulse is to have him executed, but Luan argues that they should seek answers first. Marian eventually gets the clarification she seeks when she traces a phone call back to Ed Dumani, undeniably revealing him as the mastermind behind the entire orchestration.

In a stunning revelation that twists the narrative further, we uncover Zeek's true origins. It transpires that he is actually Finn Wallace’s illegitimate son, the fruit of an affair Finn had behind Marian's back. This revelation not only explains Zeek's deep involvement in the intricate web of events but also sets the stage wide open for an exhilarating finale.
