Gannibal – Season 2 Episode 7 1

In the present, Iwao awakens to the astonishment of the Gotos, who marvel at his survival despite a gunshot wound to the head. Dismissing the notion of Keisuke's betrayal, Iwao dashes out in a desperate quest for answers. Elsewhere, Daigo's night is tormented by visions of Keisuke's disloyalty, only to be jolted awake by his friend, who urges them onward towards the shrine.

At the bridge, Kuroe watches with cold calculation as Sadamu rains blows upon Yosuke. Seizing her moment, she steps forward, feigning distress over Yosuke's alleged abduction. Her charade of affection for Sadamu leads her close, allowing her to plunge a blade coated in a lethal herbicide into his leg. Sadamu, numb to pain, responds with a dismissive kick, only to find himself paralyzed moments later. Kuroe's laughter rings out as she beats him to his death. The timely arrival of the SAT team interrupts her triumph, prompting her swift escape into the river's depths. Yosuke, resigned to his fate, surrenders willingly, his only wish the survival of Yuki.

Within the village, the votive festival thrums with vibrant life. Iwao's arrival disrupts the festive atmosphere, his frantic shouts for Keisuke echoing through the crowd. The villagers, attempting to restrain him, find themselves outmatched. Masamune, the elder, pleads for calm, offering to guide Iwao to Keisuke.

Meanwhile, Ai aids the SAT team in discovering a shortcut to the shrine. As she exits the tent, her eyes fall upon Yosuke being attended to, and her heart swells with joy and trepidation. Their reunion is charged with unspoken words; she apologizes for abandoning him, while he forgives her, understanding her motives. His revelation that Keisuke intends to sacrifice himself leaves her stunned and heartbroken.

The SAT team has finally arrived at the shrine's tunnel entrance, where they encounter an elderly lady whom they promptly shield under their watchful eyes. Little do they know, she is a Goto suicide bomber, and in a flash, she eliminates every cop within her reach. As they venture inside, Mashiro comes into view, awakening atop the altar. Approaching her, That Man receives a jelly from her hands.

Back in the village, Nishimura is incensed, urging the villagers to confront the Gotos head-on. Many of them nod in agreement. Jin, however, disagrees, haunted by the fate of Sabu. His dissent earns him a beating. As he attempts to flee, Takeru appears out of nowhere, executing Jin and commanding the villagers to proceed.

Elsewhere, Keisuke and Daigo make their way to the shrine. That Man consumes the jelly, leaving Keisuke hesitant. In a sudden move, Daigo draws his weapon and orders Keisuke to eliminate him. To everyone's astonishment, Mashiro steps forward to shield That Man. Before Keisuke can react, he is engulfed by visions of Gins, who assert their innocence and declare Shirogane a deity. Daigo's voice pierces through his delusions, prompting Keisuke to strike himself in a desperate bid to silence the hallucinations. In a moment of despair, he fires blindly, the bullet slicing through countless imaginary Gins before lodging in That Man's skull.

As Daigo rushes to Mashiro's side, the Gotos arrive, led by the Kamiyamas. Iwao is distraught over Keisuke's betrayal, while Naoya aims his gun. Keisuke collapses, bracing for his demise. But Then, That Man rises, positioning himself between Keisuke and the barrels. He repeats the word "live," and Daigo realizes That Man is shielding Keisuke. Holding Keisuke close, Daigo is transported back to his first encounter with Mashiro.

The man's wails transport us to a poignant flashback, revealing Shirogane's humanity in days long past. Gin solemnly vows to forge a world where Shirogane can exist with peace. As the heart-wrenching scene concludes in Episode 7 of Gannibal's Season 2, Shirogane's cries pierce the air, and Iwao's gaze硬化in disgust, reflecting a profound revulsion.
