The scene shifts abruptly to Marie, who discovers Emma, naked and enlarged, lying motionless in a pool. The gang quickly gathers, perplexed and alarmed, as they discuss their collective lack of memories from the recent past. Emma stumbles upon clips that shed light on the previous night's events, revealing Marie and Jordan's intimate encounter and Emma's unexpected viral fame due to a leaked nude video on TikTok.

Just when things seem to be spinning out of control, Sam pops out of nowhere, beaming with joy to see them all awake. However, Andre and Cate recoil in confusion, claiming they don't recognize him. Sam reveals the shocking truth: their memories have been erased. He promises to rectify the situation but warns them that the school poses a significant threat.

Cate and the others probe their friends about their mysterious blackout, realizing they've all suffered similar consequences. Marie fills them in on Sam's claims about the bizarre events that have unfolded over the past few days, and the group slowly starts to piece together the puzzle. Cate suggests that Ruphas might be the culprit behind their memory loss.

Meanwhile, Dr. Carlos is torn between staying and leaving his job due to the escalating chaos. Indira firmly dissuades him from quitting, arguing that it's not an option. Carlos demands that Marie be captured so he can use her as a guinea pig to study and develop a virus that can control the supes. However, Indira flatly refuses, citing ethical concerns.

Later, Marie relays her encounter with Rufus to the group, and Cate chimes in with her own encounter. They notice that Andre seems agitated by the conversation and has stormed off to confront Rufus. Emma walks down the hallway, garnering attention and praise from admiring students. Jordan walks with Marie, reassuring her that their encounter doesn't have to be awkward and that they're cool with each other.

Suddenly, they spot Rufus in a deep conversation with Indira. Deciding to confront him, they approach cautiously. Marie manages to hold Rufus back until Indira leaves, expressing her mistrust towards her. The episode ends on a tense note, leaving the audience eager to see what unfolds next.

He spots them, and a thrilling chase ensues. They finally corner him, only to discover that Rufus had cunningly hired Benny to shape-shift into his likeness. Rufus enters his room, startled to find Andre already present. Andre swiftly locks the apartment doors with his powers, determined to pry out vital information. Suddenly, he finds himself standing in a fast food store queue, perplexed by the unexpected turn of events.

Meanwhile, Marie returns to her room, her ears pricked with news of Emma's meteoric rise. She shares with Emma her conversation with Jordan, painting a picture of intrigue and mystery. Emma stumbles upon a sweatshirt from Stardust Drive-in Theater, its familiar sight evoking Sam's words.

The scene shifts to Sam, deep in the throes of a schizophrenic hallucination. He beholds a puppet semblance of Emma, and the distant chopper's roar fills the air. Suddenly, Sam transforms into a puppet, and a squad of armed puppet guards descends upon him. Sam, in a brutal frenzy, slays them all before the hallucination fades, and reality rushes back in. Sam flees, leaving chaos in his wake.

Emma, realizing that Sam's words carry a grain of truth, resolves to seek him out. Marie, feeling a strange tingling near her collarbone, uses her powers to extract a hidden tracker. She rushes out to inform Cate of this new revelation, warning that the chip is linked to something far more sinister than Rufus, possibly involving Indira. Cate grasps Marie's hand, offering an apology before erasing her memory once again.

Jordan confides in Maverick about her feelings for Marie, seeking advice. Maverick suggests she approach Cate to discuss the matter. Jordan approaches Marie, intent on speaking her mind, but her gaze falls upon an injury on Marie's collarbone. Marie, clueless about the wound, is puzzled. Jordan mentions their conversation before the chase, but Marie's mind remains blank. Jordan suspects another memory wipe and walks away, leaving Marie with a lingering sense that something isn't quite right about Jordan's collarbone either.

The scene abruptly shifts to Cate, venting his frustration to Indira about the others' suspicions, despite the supposed erasure of their memories. Indira gently reminds him that they must continue to play along for their own safety.

Meanwhile, Emma arrives at the drive-in theater, unaware that Sam has spotted her. He cautiously approaches her, making sure she is alone. She insists that she still doesn't remember Sam but seems to believe his words. She apologizes for her lost memories, and Sam reveals that Cate has also erased Luke's memories of him.

Cate enters Andre's room, eager to spend some quality time with him. They settle in to watch TV, but Andre suddenly announces that he thinks they should leave the school. Just then, his phone buzzes with a text from Jordan, informing him that she has found Rufus.

Jordan and Marie burst into the room, charging towards Rufus as he tries to flee. Rufus pleads his innocence, insisting that he has been in the room for over five hours and couldn't possibly be the one who erased their memories.

Marie's phone rings, interrupting the tense confrontation. It's Emma, calling to inform her that Rufus isn't the culprit. Marie tells Jordan to stand down, but Andre enters the room at that moment, slamming Rufus through the walls with a fury.

He pins Rufus to the wall with his Grass seers and raises a shovel, ready to strike. Cate rushes forward, confessing that she is the one who erased their memories. She reaches out, gently restoring Andre's memories.

Andre stands there, heartbroken by the betrayal, and turns away, leaving Cate and the others in a state of shock and confusion.
