Episode 10 of *Genie, Make a Wish* kicks off with Bu-gyeong receiving a disheartening message from the bank—she's been fired. Meanwhile, Yeong-hyeon confides in Da-jin about the existence of the genie, eager for them to team up and craft two flawless wishes. Da-jin's heartfelt plea is to save her father, who is battling terminal cancer. She suggests they each take one wish, but Yeong-hyeon is adamant; he's not prepared to part with his wishes just yet, sparking a heated argument between them.

At Jung-hoon’s opulent mansion, he attempts to weave another mat, only to injure himself in the process. Miraculously, he heals in an instant, a sight that only fuels his frustration. A flashback transports us to the notorious night that Iblis can't seem to recall. Khalid recounts that Iblis wiped out the entire town that fateful evening. Shadi, in search of his son, inquires about a woman, presumably Ka-young. Yet, Khalid's mind is set on acquiring powers akin to Iblis'.
In the meantime, Iblis pays a visit to Ejllael, seeking answers. This time, his questions focus on the cryptic inscriptions adorning his wall. He's desperate to understand what transpired and whether his affection for Ka-young was the catalyst for her downfall. Ejllael, however, remains tight-lipped, his fury igniting when Iblis dares to question Ka-young’s lifespan. Subsequently, Ejllael imparts strict instructions to Irem, to be followed when Shadi once again lulls everyone into slumber.
Back in town, Seung-rye's discontent with her life festers. She boasts about her children, yet they show no desire to even see her. Envy consumes her as she looks at Pan-geum, whose Ka-young had sent her on a lavish trip to Hawaii.
Pan-geum sends a message hinting at her possible departure from Hawaii to embark on further travels. Bok-ja catches sight of the message and urges Pan-geum to keep sending more updates. Back at home, Pan-geum entrusts Iblis with the task of watching over Ka-young and fostering harmony between them. She watches, mesmerized, as the couple engages in a lively debate over food.
Later, Ka-young and Iblis continue their meticulous work on the wall inscriptions. Ka-young remains consumed by jealousy, convinced that the writings must be about Jinniya. Concerned for Jung-hoon's well-being, Iblis transforms the lamp into a water bottle and insists that Ka-young keep it by her side at all times. He urges her to use her final wish to save herself if Shadi or Khalid ever manage to bind him again. However, Ka-young stubbornly refuses to let him go.
Meanwhile, back at Yeong-hyeon's house, the dispute over the wishes intensifies. Da-jin demands a divorce, while Min-ji delves into Pan-geum's past and uncovers her darkest fears. Overwhelmed, she breaks down in her car as she pieces together the puzzle.
As for Pan-geum, she busies herself preparing everything Ka-young will need for when she passes away. Ka-young, growing increasingly anxious, whisks Pan-geum away on a trip to Seoul to create cherished memories.
While Ka-young is away, Iblis meets Sang-hyeok and subtly bids him farewell. Sang-hyeok, now much happier, has cut back on his arcade gaming. Upon Ka-young's return from Seoul, she pays a visit to Min-ji at the dental clinic. Despite her anger, Min-ji assists Ka-young in maintaining her routine and even helps her conceal Mi-ju's true identity. However, Seung-rye's suspicion mounts as she spots Mi-ju lurking around.
In the evening, Ka-young informs Pan-geum of her impending short trip to Dubai. She sets off for the city, hoping to have a heart-to-heart with Jinniya about Iblis. She is eager to discover whether Iblis has used his last wish. Initially, Jinniya turns a deaf ear to her pleas until Jung-hoon traps Ka-young in a deserted alley.
Jinniya materializes just in time to rescue Ka-young, whisking her away into the safety of her enchanted lamp. Inside, Jinniya divulges the tale of Iblis's golden fury, recounting how Iblis had once razed an entire city to the ground for the sake of Ka-young. Yet, when pressed for further details, Jinniya remains tight-lipped, refusing to elaborate. After verifying that the woman depicted in the wall inscription is indeed herself, Ka-young feels a twinge of satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Irem meets with Sade, urging him to trust his instincts should the day arrive when she finds herself compelled to obey her boss's peculiar commands. Sade, though perplexed by her request, acquiesces.
After a protracted struggle, Da-jin takes drastic action by changing the YouTube channel's password and erasing it entirely. Yeong-hyeon, seizing the opportunity, summons the Genie and makes a wish: for Da-jin to forget all about the Genie and the wishes that had been granted.
Following the fulfillment of Yeong-hyeon's wish, Iblis sets his sights on Ka-young in Dubai. He discovers her standing beside a rock bearing the name of his fury. As a boy with red balloons wanders past, Iblis's memories begin to stir.
Transported to the past, he encounters the older Ka-young, who is eager to depart after Muttalib, Iblis's former master, makes his final wish. Ka-young senses a change in Iblis's demeanor, but her heart is set on returning to Goryeo. Alas, Iblis is snatched back to the present before he can glean more information, leaving him to confess to Ka-young that he may have failed her in the past.
Over dinner, Ka-young probes Iblis about his past, prompting him to realize that she has spoken with Jinniya. As rain begins to fall, Ka-young dares to demand a kiss. In response, Iblis whisks her away to the desert, where they spend the night dancing and reveling in each other's company. Ka-young finally admits that her affection for Iblis runs deeper and longer than she has ever let on.
Back in Korea, Seung-rye begins to suspect that Mi-ju is, in fact, Pan-geum. Taking the phrase "the truth is in the pudding" to heart, she sneaks into Mi-ju's house to sample her cooking and confirm her suspicions. Pan-geum is jolted awake in the middle of the night by a toothache, only to find Seung-rye lurking in her home. As they scuffle, Seung-rye catches a glimpse of a mole on Pan-geum's shoulder and confronts her. Cornered, Pan-geum confesses and pleads with Seung-rye to keep her secret. Seung-rye, disgusted, storms out.
Jung-hoon's men overhear the confrontation and report back to their boss. Alarmed by the potential leak, Jung-hoon dispatches Ishrun to eliminate Seung-rye before she can divulge the truth to the other villagers.
Back in Dubai, Ka-young excuses herself to change her attire. As she does, Iblis catches sight of a boy carrying a torch reflected in the river. He turns and finds himself face-to-face with his past self, lounging lazily in the shade while puffing on a cigarette.
