Elsewhere, Mandla consults with his lawyer, discussing a dire legal situation. With his 18th birthday looming in a week, the judge may charge him as an adult, compounding his woes. The Khumalo family's influential status could further complicate Mandla's case. His lawyer urges him to plead guilty and seek leniency from the court.

Later, Nthabi sends Siya a video, insisting they must converse. This revelation disrupts Siya's composure, making it difficult for him to concentrate for the remainder of the day. Nevertheless, he seizes the opportunity to take over RJ's position in the race and emerges victorious. In celebration, the team invites Siya to a party at RJ's house.

At the house party, Siya remains haunted by the victim's ghostly presence. Seeking solace, he finds a secluded room where Mandla is waiting. Just as he's about to unburden his conscience to his best friend, Gabi barges in. Siya hastily ends the call and Gabi encourages him to join the festivities, having caught a glimpse of his tears.

RJ, however, takes umbrage at Siya's presence and confronts him. Siya attempts to leave, but RJ persists in provoking him, mocking him publicly. A physical altercation nearly ensues, but their teammates intervene, separating them.

Siya departs with Gabi, and unexpectedly, they share a passionate kiss. Despite his efforts to immerse himself in the moment with Gabi, the image of her late brother continues to intrude his thoughts, casting a shadow over their intimate encounter.
