In the aftermath of Hell's triumphant victory over Heaven's angels, the infamous Hazbin Hotel finds itself in a state of buzzing excitement and newfound possibilities. With Adam's demise, Charlie Morningstar remains the focal point of attention, though she chooses to hide upstairs amidst the deluge of reporters flooding the foyer. Vaggie struggles to keep up with the influx of both new guests and media attention, her efforts to maintain order turning into a chaotic symphony.

As Vaggie makes her way up to Charlie's chambers, she finds her boss still reeling from the events that have transpired. In a state of disarray, Charlie decides to confront the reporters head-on, her words filled with an unbridled energy that Vox finds disconcerting. After all, the news should be Spread fear, not spreading falsehoods, and who better to take on this task than the enigmatic Katie Killjoy!
In the lobby below, a new arrival is about to check in: Baxter, a self-proclaimed mad scientist with a penchant for studying the concept of redemption. He believes it to be an impossibility, a notion that delights the others, who see him as a new addition to their ranks of Pentious. Nifty's act of self-defense in killing angels is hailed as heroic here, but it cuts deep into Charlie's psyche, making her struggle to hold onto her composure amidst the atmosphere of the "Angel Killer Hotel.".
Lucifer steps in, his presence calming the storm and helping Charlie see things more clearly. Although she still can't get through to her mother (a nod to season 1's themes), Charlie gathers her courage and confronts the media. She makes a powerful announcement: that the Hotel is not raising an army of Angel-killers, nor is it fueling bloodlust. She makes it clear that this is a place of redemption, and those who believe in it can stay. And just like that, the place empties out, its residents and guests alike fleeing from the newfound reality.
As Vox boldly ushers in Velvette and Valentino, their determination to safeguard their perfect brand from "petty nonsense" is palpable, elevating them above the fray. Instead of indulging in the trivial, Vox harbors a sinister vision—to harness the media frenzy and the new narrative surrounding Hell, fueling a Hell-wide uprising against Heaven.
Meanwhile, Charlie entrusts Vaggie with a more prominent role at the hotel, while the news outlets do their best to spin the tale in a degrading light, portraying Charlie as a villain, forcing sinners to conform to her "restrictive, puritanical mold." The result is that Vox is offering "sanctuary" to those most affected by the events.
Charlie watches the news in shock, but the surprise is yet to come when Emily suddenly materializes from a portal. Heaven has gone into lockdown following Adam's demise, but they're keen to avoid further bloodshed. Pentious, having been redeemed, is currently chilling in Heaven, attesting to the success of Charlie's hotel redemption plan.
