In the seventh episode of Hazbin Hotel's second season, Lucifer embarks on a quest to locate Charlie, only to find himself unceremoniously captured by Vox. His threats fall on deaf ears, as Lucifer is powerless to harm sinners.

At the Hazbin Hotel, the group is thrown into a tizzy when Angel Dust makes a bold announcement: the hotel is a ruse, and they must follow the Vees in order to strike back against their oppressors. To this end, they possess a weapon forged by Carmilla: the Might of Lilith, a colossal cannon that channels Lucifer's power to unleash a devastating blast. As a demonstration, it shatters the protective seal keeping Heaven at bay, sending the pearly gates crashing back to Hell.
Vox makes an ominous announcement, giving Heaven 24 hours to surrender or face another public execution. This is just what Lute needs to rally the troops and strike back against the sinners.
Sera finds herself in a difficult position, weighing her options and considering Heaven's response. Pentious, ever the concerned friend, offers his ear and his duet partner skills to Sera, as she ultimately decides to prepare the troops for war. Lute preps everyone with reluctance, leaving Emily to try and resolve things peacefully before the war truly begins.
Meanwhile, Alastor taunts Vox over her plans to overthrow Heaven, reminding her that she hasn't even proven herself the best in Hell, let alone in Heaven. He's convinced that Vox will never be able to secure Charlie's endorsement and admits her failure. When Vox disappears, Alastor chortles to himself, realizing that she is too easy to manipulate.
At the Hazbin Hotel, Emily arrives with a plan to broadcast Heaven's channels to the entirety of Hell. Baxter, who designed the system for pirating Heaven's TV channels for some time now, is more than happy to oblige given how well he's been treated at the hotel. To do the same for Heaven, Baxter explains they need someone as adept as he is to set this up. Thankfully, they have Pentious to do the job.
