In the sixth episode of the second season of Hazbin Hotel, Vox sits in his room, contemplating the unfinished business from long ago, his thoughts thick with purpose. However, Carmilla is initially uninterested in Vox's sales pitch, hesitant to get caught up in the inevitable war that looms over them. Despite her reluctance, Vox's persistence wears her down, and she agrees to help him forge weapons. Velvette, however, is not pleased with being overlooked and undermined as Vox continues to stab his cronies in the back for his own gain.

The news of this alliance spreads throughout the Hazbin Hotel, causing Vaggie to be shocked at the implications. The tension between her and Charlie persists, but they find themselves heading to Carmilla's factory nonetheless. Charlie, though not eager for war, realizes they have little choice in the matter.
Carmilla explains that she is merely protecting her own and that Vaggie started this conflict. Moreover, she is choosing the winning side and, after Hell dealt a devastating blow to Heaven last season, sees no other victor than Vox.
Vox is desperate to obtain Angel Dust and move forward with his plan, so he calls on Valentino for a favor. Velvette and Vox are unhappy about this, but Alastor watches with a wide grin on his face.
Charlie and Vaggie inevitably make up, while Husk heads to the bar where he finds Angel Dust performing cabaret. After the show, Husk sits with Angel Dust and comes to terms with the fact that redemption is not for him, having made peace with his fate.
However, Angel Dust is called away for another job, this time orchestrated by Valentino. He is brought into a hotel room where Vox reveals that he has been using Angel Dust all along. While Valentino has called Angel out for a "late night job," Vox has been one step ahead, using his hypnotism to turn the guy into a spy against Charlie.
Meanwhile, Charlie calls Lucifer after the incident and decides they should talk, giving him her location. Unfortunately, Vox is one step ahead as we know he will be and this is not going to end well.
