Episode 4 of Heartbreak High Season 2 kicks off with Quinni, Amerie, and Darren stepping into school with a flair for fashion, all geared up for the eagerly anticipated school camp. Amerie, still haunted by the widespread animosity towards her, is bent on unmasking Bird Psycho, seeing the camp as her prime opportunity. Additionally, she grapples in secret with the blossoming romance between Malakai and Rowan, their public display of affection a constant reminder of her own tumultuous love life. In an attempt to convey her indifference, she reaches out to Rowan, though her true feelings betray her. The snickers of fellow students about her romantic woes do little to alleviate her distress.
Meanwhile, Malakai and Rowan's fiery new relationship casts a shadow over Darren, who, along with Ca$h, has been patiently awaiting the right moment for intimacy, respecting Ca$h's pace. As the bus rolls towards the camp, Sasha distributes condoms as part of her advocacy, catching Missy's attention and prompting Spider to discover her bisexuality.
Upon arrival, the students scurry to claim their rooms, only for a deceased possum to complicate matters, leading Jojo to assign Amerie, Quinni, and Harper to share quarters. The girls are less than thrilled, with Zoe convinced that Amerie has transformed their school into a tabloid-worthy saga of sexual intrigue.
Amerie and Quinni, suspecting Zoe might be Bird Psycho, seek privacy to review Quinni's gathered evidence, using her phone to document their discussion. That evening, the students gather in a communal space, indulging in a raunchy game of Never Have I Ever accompanied by libations. Secrets are spilled, like Ca$h's prior anal experiences, while Rowan ponders if Malakai harbors lingering feelings for Amerie.
Jojo's intervention halts the festivities, but in the bathrooms, Missy and Spider's chance encounter blossoms into flirtatious exchanges while applying moisturizer, foreshadowing an eventual eruption of sexual tension between them.
As night descends, Quinni's suspicions towards Zoe deepen when she catches her searching in the dark. Elsewhere, Ca$h attempts to initiate intimacy with Darren, only to be rejected. Darren believes Ca$h's advances stem from pity rather than genuine desire.
The following morning, Jojo assembled the students for a mediation session, aiming to restore harmony among them. However, the session was abruptly disrupted when Bird Psycho sneakily snatched Quinni's phone and synced it to Jojo's Bluetooth. The air grew tense as Bird Psycho played an audio clip of Amerie, Harper, and Quinni speculating about Bird Psycho's true identity. In the recording, Amerie accused Malakai of being the creep, citing his manipulation to make their relationship casual so he could pursue Rowan. She dismissed Ant as too intellectually limited to orchestrate such deceit, a statement that only served to alienate her further from her peers.
After the failed mediation attempt, Voss proposed an unconventional solution: blindfolding the students and leading them deep into the forest, tasking them with navigating their way back to camp. Jojo vehemently opposed this plan, but Voss insisted that the exercise would foster resilience and unity among the students.
Unfortunately, the students became disoriented, splintering into small groups and failing to collaborate effectively. Darren stumbled upon some mushrooms, sparking a heated debate about their edibility and the equitable distribution of resources. Before a consensus could be reached, Ant impulsively ingested some. The others watched anxiously, awaiting any adverse effects. Instead, the mushrooms sent Ant into a euphoric frenzy, prompting the rest of the students to partake, resulting in a night filled with vivid hallucinations—except for Quinni, who remained stone-cold sober.
While Jojo fretted and pressured Voss to backtrack and locate the students, the latter immersed themselves in surreal visions. Malakai hallucinated kissing Amerie while Rowan, hurt and confused, pulled away. Meanwhile, Darren and Ca$h shared intimate confessions and became physically close. Missy and Spider, unable to resist their mutual attraction, engaged in oral sex amidst their hallucinations.
Elsewhere, Quinni and Amerie grilled Zoe, who denied being Bird Psycho but admitted to lying about her celibacy. She confessed to stealing Amerie's vibrator and using it, revealing a layer of dishonesty beneath her facade.
As dawn broke the next day, Quinni awoke to her phone alarm blaring. She followed the sound, inching closer to uncovering Bird Psycho's true identity, when suddenly a snake struck, biting her. Darren was the first to notice her absence, sounding the alarm. They found Quinni attempting to regulate her breathing to slow the venom's spread.
Swiftly, under Amerie's calm leadership, the students organized a first aid response. Missy suggested they follow a nearby stream, hoping it would guide them back to camp. After a arduous trek of several miles, they were mercifully rescued by Jojo and emergency responders. Quinni fainted as she struggled, still muttering about her phone.
