The episode begins with Amerie, preoccupied by the events at the carnival, struggling to rationalize what happened to Ca$h, who wasn't present. He advises them to delete any pictures and act normally the next day at the Open Uni Day.

Meanwhile, Missy tries to help Malakai, who has dislocated his shoulder, but ends up hurting him more. The next day, Darren tries to act normal and obsesses over perfecting their performance for Lana at the Open Uni Day, but everyone is still distracted by what happened at the carnival. Amerie lies that she didn't sleep well and is out of it. Ca$h tries to comfort them.
Goodsy then reports that the St. Bruno's principal is looking for the bust of one of their saints and is planning to report the theft to the police. The group feigns ignorance, but she warns that they have until the end of the day to return it or their future will be ruined. The group immediately calls a meeting and realizes that the bust is missing its nose.
Sasha catches them red-handed and threatens to tell Woodsy. They lash out at her, calling her lame and pointing out that they don't hang out with her anymore because she let the power of the vice-captain get to her. The group decides to go to the Open Uni day and figure everything out later, but the tension gets too much for Quinni, who heads to the sensory room.
There, she meets Taz, who is apparently Woodsy's niece. She recently moved from New Zealand after getting into trouble. Woodsy had asked Quinni to keep an eye out and report if Taz is up to trouble. Taz asks her to forget that she just suggested examination fraud.
The conversation turns to the sensory room, and Quinni explains its purpose and says that Taz will need an access card and a letter from the nurse and guardian. However, Taz has another plan for the sensory room. She colludes with a student who has an access card and starts charging students to have sex in the room.
The episode ends with a sense of unease and tension among the group as they face the consequences of their actions and the potential consequences of their missing saint's bust.
On the day of the Open Uni event, Amerie's mental state continues to spiral downwards, causing her to hallucinate the saint. During the psychology workshop, she asks probing questions, and when Seb and Noah inquire about her involvement in the bust, she denies it vehemently.
Meanwhile, Sasha's efforts to join an animal activist group are met with rejection as she unwittingly wears perfume tested on animals. Desperate to make a difference, she attempts to rescue a chicken from a barn in her panties. Unfortunately, the group had already rescued the chicken and were keeping it there pending a suitable home. They eventually sideline Sasha and invite Quinni to join them instead.
Darren's anxiety escalates after Lana fails to be impressed by their performance. She tells them they need to be more authentic in their presentation. Later, Darren contemplates giving up on their dream of becoming an actor altogether.
Zoe continues to deny being the author of "Velvet Thrones" and finds it bothersome that everyone keeps praising her for writing smut and asking sex-related questions.
At the hospital, Malakai is informed that he requires a scan, and doctors provide him with powerful pain medication while waiting for the results. After a long day of turmoil and learning that Malakai's condition has worsened, Amerie reaches her breaking point. She calls Harper, and they head back to the carnival to find the bust's nose. En route, they encounter two officers from Work Watch investigating Clancy's accident. Thankfully, the officers only spot Harper, and she lies that she is there to find a lost bag. In the back of the ride, Amerie discovers the nose. Later, Harper insists they drive to the hospital since Clancy and Malakai are at the same facility. She worries that Clancy might see Malakai and report him to the officers.
They discovered Malakai in a state of high pain induced euphoria. Fortunately, Amerie promptly took him back to his room, while Harper offered to help Clancy's wife by notifying the casual workers about the accident. This is when she learns that Clancy is in a coma in the ICU. Meanwhile, Malakai tells Amerie that she disrupts his life and that he was happier while he was away. Although his words slightly hurt her, she doesn't dwell on them because Harper calls to inform her of Clancy's condition.
At school, Woodsy almost discovers Taz's new booming business. To distract her, she sprays soda on her. She ends up in detention with Sasha, and they start bonding over their lack of friends.
At the end of the day, Amerie confesses to Noah, who is worried that she cheated on him. He is relieved to learn that she didn't, and she explains that nothing is going on with Malakai. He promises to keep her Clancy secret. Together, they fix the bust, and she returns it.
At the hospital, the doctors inform Malakai and his mom that he will need a month in a sling for his minor ligament tear. However, given the injury to his ribs, it would be best if he didn't travel. His mom insists they stay put until he is better.
Back at the hospital, Harper overhears Jackie and Liam talking about the possibility of someone other than Clancy turning on the ride. She goes back to tell Amerie that they are not in the clear yet. She thinks one of them turned the ride on and accidentally put Clancy in the hospital.
