The episode begins with the police interrogating our friend group. They confess to being at the carnival but insist they didn't turn on the ride. After the interrogation, Spider and the rest confront Malakai for snitching on them. He reminds them that they all made a mistake and it's only right that they take accountability.

Later, the group attends the school graduation to watch Ca$h graduate. It's a painful experience for them to watch the rest of the class graduate, but they still try to be happy for Ca$h. Nan is overjoyed to see her grandson finally graduate, and she invites everyone to the Bowlo to celebrate.
Malakai coincidentally shows up, and Amerie informs him that she's not mad that he came clean. The conversation turns to Noah and why he was at the carnival. Amerie realizes that she needs to verify Noah's words that he didn't turn on the ride. She gatecrashes his lunch date with his family and Seb's. Initially, Seb refuses to let her see the dashcam video from his phone. However, once she causes a scene with the parents and threatens to tell them about the party, which Seb had said was a robbery, he gives in.
Back at the Bowlo, Ca$h insists that he's ready to leave for New York. The rest of the group wallows in self-pity, much to Nan's dismay. She sends them out to play a game of bowls, which only escalates the situation and turns into a full-on physical fight. Thankfully, Miss Obah arrives to check on them and steps in. She suggests doing one final SLTs class to help them with conflict resolution. She encourages them to open up about their feelings. Everyone is hesitant until Sasha takes the first initiative.
She candidly admits to feeling like a fraud and comprehends the reason behind the group's exclusion of her. She further unburdened her heart by confessing to feeling alienated and extending apologies to all. The group promptly wraps her in a comforting embrace, assuring her that all will be well. With the peace restored, Obah departs. Concurrently, Harper sets out to meet Liam, revealing the truth to him. The rest of the group remains behind, celebrating the night away. Spider and Missy engage in a heartfelt conversation, finally closing the chapter on their relationship and deciding to remain friends.
Ca$h experiences a moment of dread in the presence of Nan, admitting to himself that he is not ready to let her go. He later shares this insight with Darren, and they agree to explore ways to make their relationship work. Back at school, Taz vents her frustration at Woodsy for punishing her after she ruined Sasha's speech during the graduation ceremony. She feels that Woodsy should have done more for the students and for her, especially after her mother's passing. Eventually, they reconcile, and it dawns on Taz that Woodsy will not give up on her.
At the restaurant, Noah and Amerie view the dashcam footage, revealing that Noah never doubted Amerie and called out Seb's behavior. Meanwhile, Harper confides in Liam that she was part of the group the police arrested. He forgives her, and they end up spending the night together. She neglects multiple calls and messages from Amerie. It turns out that Liam was the one who activated the ride-share. From Seb's dashcam footage, Amerie recognizes the masks Liam was wearing that night.
On the other hand, Liam suggests embarking on a road trip with Harper. She enthusiastically agrees until she reads Amerie's texts, and the next morning, the cops arrive to arrest Liam.
She, Noah, and Amerie set off for Ca$h's residence. Harper is taken aback by the realization that she overlooked the signs with Liam, but Almerie urges them to leave the past behind and concentrate on their final exams. Unfortunately, Harper exits the exam room abruptly.
Following the finals, Taz pays a visit to Ca$h's house to apologize to Quinn before the group departs for schoolies. Quinn, however, turns her away.
As the schoolies trip approaches, Harper reveals her intention to embark on a road trip, surprising Amerie. Amerie tries to play it cool, but both of them candidly admit that they will be heartbroken to be apart.
While waiting for Sasha, Amerie steps out of the car to help her gather her belongings. She spots one of Sasha's brothers wearing a mask, and it suddenly dawns on her that Sasha was at the carnival and could be the one who turned the ride on.
