Meanwhile, the political winds are shifting as Congressman Landon prepares to unveil his gubernatorial ambitions at the Mutiny, his sights set on the Cuban community as a pivotal constituency. He paints a utopian vision of Miami under his watch, yet the veneer of his promises rings hollow, a familiar tactic of politicians. Nevertheless, Nestor sees Landon as a preferable candidate amidst the field, hoping for a less tumultuous reign.

Elsewhere, Zulio and his team stumble upon a chilling sight—three bodies dangling from the roadside, a clear message from Nestor to his adversaries. Just as tensions escalate, Don Henao arrives in Miami, greeted warmly by Yolanda, their joy fleeting upon learning of Nestor's ruthless reclaiming of his turf, leaving three of Henao's men in his wake.

At the Mutiny, Landon inspects every detail to ensure his campaign launch runs smoothly. Roman intercepts him with a directive from Nestor: broker a meeting between Yolanda, her benefactor, and Landon himself. Nestor's displeasure with Landon's secret meetings with Ray lingers, but he's willing to overlook it if Landon can secure Yolanda's presence.

Landon dispatches Ray to broker the meeting, but Yolanda opts to sit on the sidelines, leaving the decision to Don Henao. Henao's suspicions are aroused, fearing Ray's duplicity and Landon's sluggishness in arranging a secure conduit for their illicit goods. The encounter leaves Ray shaken, yet Henao agrees to confront Nestor face-to-face at the Mutiny that very night.

Amidst the intrigue, Burton intersects with Zulio, entrusting him with the investigation into Connie's mysterious death. He divulges that he's reengaged Connie's investigators and hands Zulio a trove of incriminating documents. Zulio vows to delve into the papers and report back to Burton. His probing reveals a sinister truth—Ray has been stealthily siphoning off minute, untraceable sums through the bank, betraying the trust of those around him.

Later that evening, Nestor, Roman, Yolanda, and Don Henao converged at the Mutiny, the atmosphere charged with anticipation. Don Henao extended a proposition, offering Nestor a 15% stake in their partnership. However, Nestor's expression remained stoic, his reluctance to align with Don Henao palpable as he declined the offer with conviction.

The following day, within the confines of the mansion, Marisol's anxiety over Roman's recent endeavors deepened. To alleviate her distress, Alejandra suggested a retail excursion, envisioning them adorned in new gowns for Landon's charity gala. Marisol adamantly refused the invitation to the soirée but conceded to the shopping trip. Little did they know, Yolanda's men had other plans, unleashing a hail of bullets at the boutique, a stark message to Nestor and Roman. Roman, attempting to soothe Marisol's frayed nerves, found himself on the receiving end of a sharp slap.

Afterwards, Roman sought out Nestor, urging him to reconsider the negotiation. He tasked Janice with relaying a message of hope to Ray, who was found shaken and on the verge of flight. Janice delivered the message, only to have Yolanda unexpectedly interrupt the proceedings at the Mutiny. Roman, his anger tempered by the need for peace, managed to convince Yolanda to broker another meeting with Don Henao. He even went so far as to threaten Nestor with his departure if his brother failed to comply.

Meanwhile, Nestor encountered Valeria once again, attempting to pilfer his cocaine. As he recounted his humble beginnings as a dishwasher in Miami, alongside Roman, Nestor revealed his true motivations behind the drugs trade: a swift path to financial freedom and the American dream, as well as the means to empower Cubans in their struggle against Fidel Castro. Valeria, moved by Nestor's narrative, vowed never to procure more cocaine for her lover.

With the stage set, Don Henao and Nestor convened at Landon's residence, where Landon acted as a mediator. Nestor agreed to collaborate with Don Henao, provided he retained his territories and secured discounted prices for the product. Landon's stern intervention ensured the deal's fruition, much to Roman's dismay upon discovering that Don Henao and Ray secretly served Castro, their most formidable foe, with a portion of the drug money. Moreover, Landon's duplicity in concealing this truth from Nestor stung even more.

Nestor and Roman confronted Landon at the Mutiny, just hours before his fundraising bash. Landon's confession, laced with threats, rang hollow as he feigned intentions to topple Castro upon attaining the presidency. Roman, unconvinced, tasked Zulio with uncovering evidence to arrest Landon, Don Henao, and Yolanda, but the evidence proved elusive. Nestor, however, took matters into his own hands, instructing his men to prepare a 'gift' for Landon.

The fundraising party proceeded seamlessly, its festive ambiance marred only by the lurking danger. An anonymous figure, presumably acting on Nestor's behalf, planted a bomb within Landon's vehicle. As the party wound down, Zulio waited in ambush, ready to confront Landon. But fate had other plans; Landon was instantly incinerated as he stepped into his car, a grim testament to Nestor's 'gift.'
