In Episode 4 of "How to Get to Heaven From Belfast," the girls are determined to uncover the mystery of Jodie Pryor and how she ended up in that coffin. Owen denies that Jodie ever existed, which triggers Liam's Spidey-Sense. It's possible that he was having an affair with Jodie, but there's more at play here.

As we know, Greta has taken Jodie's disguise, and our trio also notices that Jodie has booked a flight to Portugal. This clue leads them to the Calmas Aguas Azuis resort, where we saw flashes in Episode 3. Robyn calls and pretends to be Jodie's mother. Apparently, she called earlier inquiring about her daughter and the dates she left. They were actually planning to hear from her, and Robyn fits right into the role.
Now, Robyn is back on the home computer where a message from Jesse pops up, addressed to Jim and telling him he needs to talk to his wife as she won't "wait forever." Robyn is pissed and immediately confronts Jim about a potential affair. According to Jim, Jesse is a man in his 60s and actually his boss. There's a big promotion waiting for him, but it also involves a lot of traveling, so he hasn't brought it up with her, hence the delay.
In the midst of all this chaos, Dara uncovers evidence from the undertaker, who reveals that there were actually burn marks on the deceased. This evidence, coupled with the drama involving Portugal, sends the trio to the sunshine coast.
When they arrive at their destination, the girls dive straight into the nitty-gritty, determined to uncover the truth about Jodie and her potential connection to Greta. Given Jodie's employment at the resort, they head towards the Sunshine Cottages, the staff quarters, which are unlocked but in disarray. It appears as though someone has been searching for something, and a book titled "The Doll Complex" and the same symbol, "Heaven's Veil," are found on the door.
However, out of another room emerges Booker, who claims to be Jodie's mother. Greta (disguised as Jodie) leaves the lighthouse, and Booker displays her ruthlessness by killing one of her associates with an IED for being late to the job. She moves Greta to another safehouse in Portugal and tells her to stay put. This explains why Booker is here and why the girls are investigating.
But then, a literal mystery box pops up inside a locker at the spa, along with a letter addressed to Jodie. There's a combination on the front of the box, but they're unsure of the code. The letter's contents reveal Greta apologizing to Jodie, with the box apparently helping to explain more of this.
When Booker finds out about the box, she tries to retrieve it from them, deciding to invite the gang over to a suspicious yacht in the middle of the water. Saoirse enlists Liam's help to investigate this story further, and he immediately speaks to Mrs. Heaney to see if he can squeeze any gossip out of her.
Heaney also has this book, "The Doll Complex," which apparently details how one can change the narrative around grief and trauma. This is also how she named Greta, given it's the name of the author. When Liam presses the issue and asks about Jodie's role in all this, she does become a bit flustered. Owen steps in and steers the conversation in his desired direction, eventually forcing the rookie cop out the door.
When he does, Owen becomes increasingly concerned and points out that the girls are getting closer to the truth in Portugal. Mrs. Heaney tries to calm him down, but Owen is certainly unnerved. Liam leaves the house but looks up "The Doll Complex" online, which contradicts Heaney's account of what the book is about (mother-daughter relations) and the date it was published.
Back on the boat, the girls realize they've been duped when Booker has taken off with the box. Even worse, she's laced the yacht with explosives. The trio manages to escape just before getting caught in the blast and makes it back to shore.
However, there's one final twist. That mystery box that Booker has? Well, it turns out it was switched with the real box by the magician entertainer working at the resort. He hands the girls the real box as Booker reels over what's happened.
As the episode closes out, someone grabs Greta at the safehouse, while the trio leaves Portugal on a plane... only to immediately find Booker happens to be the flight attendant there. Uh oh!
