In the second episode of I Love LA, we find ourselves in a café, where Maia delivers a masterful agency pitch to Tallulah, as they hone in on ways to make the star shine even brighter. Their conversation is interrupted by a familiar face from New York, who storms in with a Balenciaga bag in hand, shrieking and causing a commotion as she tries to reclaim her property, scattering Tallulah's belongings in the process.
Later that evening, as they recount the day's drama, Charlie expresses his disapproval of the girls' obsession with each other. Meanwhile, at home, Maia's proposition to Dylan, accompanied by her top being lifted off her shoulders, is met with a knock on the door from Tallulah, eager to join in the fun.
The next day at work, Tallulah's relentless texting becomes a distraction for Maia, with her colleague commenting on the challenges of working with a friend. Meanwhile, Charlie is working on an outfit for a rising star who disrespects him. And Alani makes an appearance at her father's company, where she holds the position of VP of Creative Projects. During a meeting, she takes over with stories about her first boyfriend, but it's not a tale of joy. Meanwhile, at home, Dylan walks in on Tallulah engaging in phone sex.
Maia has a call with her dad, where she is reassured that Tallulah can thrive in LA despite the warrant in New York. But when she returns home, Tallulah assures her that Paulina isn't calling the police; instead, she's coming for dinner that night. Dylan likes to cook, right?
At a bar, Charlie gets the boot from his client and literally returns the clothes she'd gifted him with. Paulina coerces the others into taking a few lines of coke with sob stories and not-so-subtle threats. To get rid of her, Maia puts on a dramatic show, traumatizing Dylan. After Paulina leaves, the girls laugh hysterically, but in a fit of charity, Pauline returns and overhears everything. She immediately goes live with her Tallulah story.
