In the seventh episode of I Love LA, we find Maia embarking on her morning self-inspiration ritual, only to clash with Dylan before even leaving for work. Her mood, however, remains unshaken as she and her colleagues eagerly await the arrival of celebrity maker and Forme dinner host, Antoine. Taking the initiative, Maia conjures a magical encounter with Tallulah later that evening, securing a meeting that leaves her beyond thrilled.
Reaching out to Tallulah via a call that lands in her voicemail, Maia later discovers that the Ritz result has left the latter super disappointed and in need of a rethink on her brand. Maia, undeterred, wields a knife as she opens PR boxes, only to thwack it squarely into the top of her foot in a comical mishap.
As they arrive at the hospital in a ride, Tallulah wheels Maia into Emergency amidst a wait caused by a bus accident. Seeing it as an excuse to skip the meeting, Tallulah is met with Maia's determination. She fakes being a school bus crash victim and convinces the doctor to stitch her up without anesthesia.
Meanwhile, Charlie pauses to collect outfits for the hospital while his ex-boss Mimi ambushes him at his studio. Mimi, now on crutches, wants Charlie back after her embarrassing broadcast fall caused by her current fashion team. But who is he to decline work?
In the hospital waiting area, Tallulah joins Alani and Charlie as they find Maia, surrounded by a stream of curses. With the doctor insisting she should not walk on her foot or risk losing a toe, Maia can't be stopped. Even when Alyssa calls to inform them the meeting is cancelled, Maia calls in a favor to get intel on Antoine and they head to the venue.
There, they find Alyssa with Antoine, clearly cutting Maia out. With renewed energy, Maia stalks up to the table to introduce Tallulah, using her foot story to demonstrate her determination. Of course, he invites them to sit. Before long, he's off to his next meeting but takes Tallulah along so they can chat fashion designers. Left alone with Alyssa, Maia confronts her with an ultimatum: Maia declares she can't put the agency before her clients.
As she finally stumbled back home, her heart pounding and blood staining her clothes, she realized with a heavy heart that she had forgotten to dine with Dylan's parents amidst the chaos, and in her desperation, she had not even thought to reach out to him. As they engaged in a heated discussion about how everything seemed to revolve around Maia, Dylan grabbed a bag and proposed that they take a break.
