Meanwhile, the investigation drags on, and recall our earlier hint about Alina potentially holding the key to unraveling this mystery? Dalewski concurs with this assessment after Agnieszka shares her experience of visiting Alina, who responded to her questions with a door slamming in her face. Before that fateful encounter ended abruptly, Alina displayed a nervous demeanor, particularly when Greta's name was mentioned.

Later that afternoon, an envelope finds its way to Greta's doorstep, bearing a letter from Jimmy urging her to call. Inside, she also discovers a USB drive containing footage from the 2009 concert. It transpires that the entire narrative has been twisted; Jacek is actually Syzmon, and the online photos mix-up wasn't an error. Greta realizes with a shock that her recollections have been flawed, and Syzmon has deceived her throughout, posing as Jacek.

As for Alina, her secrets continue to elude Greta, who now comprehends the reason behind Alina's aloofness. When Greta confronts the elderly woman, sharing the grim news about "Jacek's" hospitalization, Alina hastily gathers her belongings and makes to leave. However, in her haste, she leaves the door slightly ajar, prompting Greta to enter uninvited. Inside, her eyes fall upon numerous photographs of her children scattered around, revealing the truth: Szymon is indeed her husband, and Alina, her mother-in-law.

It transpires that Szymon's deception was an act of desperation born out of love. Alina had been gravely ill, and following Jacek's demise, Szymon assumed his identity to secure funds for her surgery. By then, it was too late to turn back, and he sacrificed everything, becoming entrenched in this new persona with no escape route. This revelation explains Alina's evasiveness; Greta's entire life has been constructed upon a foundation of lies.

What transpired with Jacek? Greta subsequently reaches out to Jimmy over the phone, who unravels the twist that "they" have duped everyone involved. He harbors suspicions that Greta's memory loss is feigned, given her presence at the fateful concert where she bore witness to all unfolding events. So, what lies beneath this veil of secrecy?

After the concert, Jimmy found solace in his room until Jacek burst in, accusing him of song theft. Jacek insisted Jimmy reclaim the stage and confess that 'Just One Look' wasn't his creation. A fierce altercation ensued between them, culminating in Jimmy accidentally plunging a knife into Jacek's abdomen. Soon after, Greta and Sylwia appeared on the scene. Greta, horrified, fled in the opposite direction, while the others conspired to conceal Jacek's murder, keeping it a tightly guarded secret all this time. Greta convinced herself that this incident could very well serve as Jimmy's motive for murder.

Jimmy, however, stands firm in his innocence, exiting after urging her to re-examine the concert footage. As fate would have it, on his way out that fateful night, Jimmy was struck and killed instantly in a hit-and-run accident.

Who is orchestrating all this chaos? Dalewski learns of Jimmy's untimely demise and realizes that these deaths, intertwined with Greta, cannot be mere coincidences. They must be part of a broader conspiracy. Meanwhile, Greta scrutinizes the video and detects discrepancies, particularly noting Sandra, Jacek's sister, lurking suspiciously in the background.

Greta proceeds to visit her husband, who, though stabilized and conscious, is in dire straits. He apologizes profusely to Greta for not coming clean sooner. He reveals that Sandra preyed on his vulnerabilities and guilt, manipulating him into posing as Jacek. The reason? If not, the royalties from the song (explaining the bulk of money in his account) would revert to Jacek's father. With family ties strained and communication nil, Sandra knew her father's acquisition of those rights would render her penniless.

Sandra boasts a vast network, including someone capable of forging identities. This enabled her to exercise control over Szymon, legally transferring all song royalties to her. She intended to stash the money in a secure fund, replenishing it with future royalty checks. This arrangement would finance Szymon's mother's surgery, an offer Sandra dangled as a carrot. Essentially, her mother's life was the ransom for Szymon's new identity — provided he kept silent about Jacek's fate.

Tragically, Szymon succumbs to his condition right there in the hospital. Greta,淹没在悲痛之中, yet fortified with the truth, seeks out Dalewski, determined to put an end to this saga once and for all. She enlists his aid to bring Sandra down.

What was Sandra's ultimate objective? As the mastermind behind the intricate web of deceit unfurled, we now comprehend that Sandra was the puppeteer pulling all the strings. Szymon, weighed down by the burden of Sandra's relentless lies, was on the brink of confession, poised to reveal the truth behind that fateful phone call to Greta. Panicked by this impending revelation, Sandra hastily arranged a meeting with Szymon, only to spring a trap on him by introducing Roman and unveiling their kidnapping scheme. The concert inferno, while effectively obscuring the murder's traces, unfortunately claimed the lives of twenty-eight innocent souls.

Lewinski bore the brunt of the blame, silenced by Sandra who used the royalties from the song to bribe the band members into hushing up Jacek's murder. Sandra remained tight-lipped as Greta methodically laid out the evidence, her demeanor a mixture of fury and trepidation, especially when Greta revealed the recorded conversation between them. Just as she exited, Dalewski made his appearance and apprehended her, leaving us with several lingering questions.

What was Borys' role in this intricate saga? As the narrative skips forward two months, we find Greta preparing for a grand gallery opening. Borys arrives early, presenting her with Alex's diary, a detailed chronicle of events except for the mystery surrounding Alex's demise. His mission was to stir up trouble and uncover the truth, though initially, he harbored suspicions towards Szymon.

Borys orchestrated a plan, paying Krystian, the photographer, to plant Alex's photo among others and assist Greta in her quest for truth. The photo, originally found in Alex's diary, had its subject's face crossed out, was part of a broader surveillance operation that included bugging Alex's home and car, and bore a cryptic message on its reverse. Greta, irate, demanded his departure, but just as he was leaving, she discovered a stunning revelation: Borys was the one who had taken the fateful photo in the first place. And then, abruptly, the story concludes, leaving us with more questions than answers.
