The episode shifts back to the present, where Garudi is leaving for work when he discovers Rajji in the washroom. He tends to her, asks Silky for help, and calls Jung, who's on a pilgrimage at the Golden Temple. Meanwhile, Dhanwant locks up the motorcycle to prevent Jagdish from selling it. Bunny's roommate informs her that Johnny has been arrested. As Bunny is about to escape, the cops arrive at their shared apartment and arrest her, taking her to the police station.

At the station, Garudi has Johnny's blood sample taken for testing. He tries to contact Jung's friend to reach his brother and urges Jung to return as soon as possible. He informs his brother about Rajji's health, but Jung refuses to disclose his plans to return home. Dhanwant interrogates Bunny, asking her to stop protecting Johnny. She reveals that Johnny was living with a foreigner in Manali, which convinces Bunny to betray her lover.

Dhanwant interrupts Garudi's interrogation of Johnny and asks him to file a chargesheet against him. She lies that Bunny has agreed to be the state witness against Johnny. Dhanwant asks Garudi to trick Johnny into believing that Bunny has betrayed him so that he will confess his involvement in the case. Aujla learns that a woman named Mahi Verma was attacked at a railway crossing. Dhanwant requests Garudi to take her to the hospital where Mahi is admitted.

The doctor, in a grave tone, informs the police that Mahi had been subjected to brutal abuse before she was discovered. Dhanwant, with a hint of regret, reveals to the doctor that Mahi is Baljinder's mistress. Just then, Baljinder storms into the hospital, visibly shocked by Mahi's condition. He becomes aggressive and rushes out, but Garundi, with a calming demeanor, follows him and manages to soothe his anger. Baljinder confesses that his brother-in-law's bouncer, Pamma, was the one who attacked Mahi. He claims that Karamjot has been threatening Mahi for months, demanding that she vacate the house that Baljinder had provided for her.

In private, Dhanwant apologizes to Garundi for the commotion he had to witness the night before. Garundi advises the Sub-Inspector to be easy on her husband. Meanwhile, Jagdish's absence from his shop worries his employee.

At the station, Johnny tells the police that Preet had been using him to get back at Sam. He claims that he used Preet's vulnerability to coerce her into giving him Rs. 10,00,000 and fled the city when Preet started asking him to return the money. Dhanwant requests Garundi to compare Johnny's blood sample with the blood found at the crime scene.

Meanwhile, Baljinder breaks the news to his wife, Twinkle, that her brother had attacked Mahi and nearly killed her. At the same time, Arun attempts to meet Raju Sidra, inquiring about his missing father. Raju becomes aggressive towards Arun and kicks him out of his house.

In essence, the story unfolds with a series of revelations and confrontations, each one painting a clearer picture of the complex relationships and underlying tensions at play.

That evening, Garundi learns that the blood samples confirm that Johnny was not Preet's killer, and he promptly informs Dhanwant of this revelation. The following morning, Dhanwant and Garundi scrutinize the CCTV footage from the railway crossing and uncover evidence implicating Pamma. She requests that Garundi arrest the man and use Pamma as a means to reach Karamjot. Dhanwant discovers that Jagdish has been absent from work for the past two days. An employee asks Dhanwant for his salary, which Jagdish has not paid for the past two months. Dhanwant promises to pay him during the festival of Lohri, when the state celebrates.

That night, Baljinder's employee ventures out to witness the fireworks. A live wire ignites a fire at Baljinder's cottage. Meanwhile, Dhanwant searches for Jagdish at local bars. Garundi sacrifices his family's Lohri celebrations to track down Pamma and have him arrested. Silky attempts to reach Garundi but is unable to connect with him.

Just then, Jung arrives at Garundi and Silky's house, instructing Rajji to pack their bags as they are returning home. Garundi continues his search for Pamma, who appears to have escaped. Exhausted from her unsuccessful search for Jagdish at local bars, Dhanwant is on her way home when Garundi informs her about Pamma. Dhanwant urges him to call it a day.

Meanwhile, Baljinder's servant, Malli, returns to a burning cottage in shock. At Garundi's house, Jung informs Rajji that he plans to transfer the house and their family's land to her name. He declares that he intends to dedicate the rest of his life to prayer and will reside at the Golden Temple.

Garundi returns home just as Jung is leaving with Rajji. He attempts to stop his older brother and berates Jung for being an inadequate husband and a poor parent. Jung becomes upset and reveals to his brother that the baby Rajji is carrying is actually Garundi's. The episode concludes with Dhanwant, Garundi, Sam, and Arun reflecting on the events of the previous day.
