Published: Jan 06 2026

The fourth episode of "Land of Sin" begins with Jarven's menacing arrival, threatening Elis for exposing their hideout to a cop. He is erratic and unpredictable, but Elis wins him over by offering his warehouse as their new sanctuary. Once they've moved in, Elis confides in Katty about his theory that Jarven killed Silas. She pleads with him to leave it alone, but he's troubled and determined to prevent more children from suffering. After she falls asleep, he sneaks back and rescues Dani, hiding her in an abandoned trailer and tending to her wounds. She accepts that she owes him but demands answers. He insists that she is the only one who can deliver justice and that she owes it to Silas. He blames her for calling the Social Services on Ivar and then abandoning Silas when he became troublesome. She feels guilty and confesses that she just gave up. He urges her to keep going, and she agrees to work with him to clear Oliver's name.

Land of Sin – Season 1 Episode 4 1

Oliver is in solitary confinement, recalling his fight with Silas. Meanwhile, Dani meets Kent Gunna, the local cop who had questioned Silas. He shares the interview video in which Silas reveals that he needs to pay Jarven back in two days or face death. He's also tired of his family fighting over Synden. Both Gunna and Dani doubt the existence of Jarven, and Elis pretends not to know him. He's evasive about Synden as well, and Dani decides to do her own research. She discovers that Ivar's land is quite average, but Synden and all of Elis' lands are arable. Arable land attracts a government grant, which is a significant sum of money.

Katty and Jon are comforting Harald over a dead lamb when Dani storms in with her new findings. While Elis is away, she confronts Katty, who lashes out, believing that the cop has a vendetta against her family. Dani finally leaves when Katty compares them and says the cop is a bad mother. Once she's gone, Katty and her family look worried, fearing that Dani could ruin all their efforts by poking into Synden.

Elsewhere, Malik discovers a shocking revelation and attempts to reach out to Dani. However, she is engrossed in a call with her boss, who updates her that Oliver's guilt is as clear as day. Returning to the Dunckes', a group of children stumble upon a burnt barrel behind Elis's home. They call Kimmen, who discovers Silas's bracelet hidden within its charred remains. Elis indulges in a drinking session with Jarven and his gang. The Duncke men hatch a plan to terrify Dani and set their sights on her. At the end of the episode, one of the men, Svarten, crashes into Dani's car, leaving the scene filled with tension and anticipation for what's to come.
