Episode 5 of "Legends" commences with Hakan and Aziz summoning Carter, Eddie, Mylonas, and Guy for a pivotal meeting. Hakan informs the group that, with their partners in Istanbul now deceased, they will personally embark on a journey to Pakistan to smuggle two tonnes of drugs into the country. Guy briefs his team on the drug import plan, while Erin elucidates the potential worth of the heroin - a staggering 100 million GBP and a serious threat to Britain. Guy divulges that he will also be traveling to Karachi to secure the drugs and assures that he will ensure the shipment never reaches the country.

Angus notifies the group that he must speak with the Home Secretary as the mission appears exceedingly perilous. Guy requests a sailor's assistance for the operation, and Don volunteers their friend Pete, a former Special Forces officer. He explains that Pete can navigate a boat to Karachi to retrieve the drugs. Angus and Don are escorted to the Home Office to request government support for the mission. Concurrently, Eddie meets with Bailey to inform him about the trip to Pakistan. Bailey offers to relocate Eddie and his family, but Eddie declines, stating his desire to destroy Carter without directly betraying him due to his fear of Carter's capabilities.
Bailey urges Eddie to provide evidence against Carter, but Eddie continues to resist working with the Customs office officially. Bailey then shocks Eddie by revealing that he will also be traveling to Pakistan, implying the presence of a spy within the Turks' ranks.
Meanwhile, Sophie assists Guy in packing for the trip and begs him to promise a safe return. Guy conceals the mission's details from her and instead discusses the persona he will embody for the operation. He pledges to Sophie that once the mission is complete, he will return home and leave that character behind.
Erin secures government consent forms for Don, Guy, and Bailey before their journey to Pakistan. Guy questions Bailey's inclusion in the mission, and a disagreement arises after Guy learns that Bailey has an informant within the Liverpool gang. Guy fears that Bailey's informant could jeopardize his mission. Don intervenes and urges both men to concentrate on their individual objectives.
The group arrives in Pakistan and is introduced to Mr Ayub Afridi, who refuses to discuss business openly. He leads the men directly to his home, where the drugs are stored. Don and Bailey secretly monitor the group as they depart. During their journey, Eddie whispers to Bailey that Afridi is taking them to his house and asks Bailey to convey a message to his wife if he does not survive.
Carter becomes suspicious after noticing Eddie speaking with Bailey in private. Elsewhere, Guy is taken aback to discover that Mylonas has brought his wife to Karachi with him.
Subsequently, an American official assisting Britain in the mission arrives in Karachi and offers to escort Don to Khyber, where Afridi resides. He emphasizes how dangerous it is to follow the group there. Meanwhile, Hakan, Guy, and the others arrive in Khyber, where Afridi proudly recounts his survival of attacks from the British Army, Russians, and Americans.
Guy feels increasingly uncomfortable as Afridi demonstrates his power by executing a man in their presence. Later, a Pakistani man threatens to shoot Guy and Mylonas as they stroll along. Mylonas urges Guy to prove himself worthy, so that Afridi trusts him enough to hand over the drugs. At the same time, Mylonas' wife travels to Afghanistan, revealing that she is the daughter of a former Afghan king. The next day, Afridi questions why he should hand the drugs directly to them instead of continuing to use the Istanbul route. Guy explains that their Istanbul contact is dead and argues that Afridi can make more money by working with them directly.
Afridi is impressed by Mylonas' wife's confidence and learns that she is an Afghan princess. He eventually agrees to hand Hakan and his team the two-tonne heroin shipment. Back in Liverpool, Kate tries to access the police records but is denied entry without authorization. The officer at the desk asks to review Declan Carter's file and later informs Goodwin about Kate's visit. Goodwin approaches Kate while pretending to be a helpful officer and offers to help her gain access to Carter's records privately the next day.
In Khyber, Hakan tells Aziz to learn everything he can about Guy so that he can eventually replace the Englishman after the deal is complete. Hakan insists that Aziz stay back in Pakistan to reconnect with his roots. However, Aziz later speaks privately with Guy and admits that he does not want to spend his life trading drugs like his father. Instead, he hopes to build a legitimate business once they return to London.
Elsewhere, Carter requests a ride in Guy's car to the dock. Guy initially refuses but eventually agrees. The following day, Kate meets Goodwin at a private location and discovers that he has been helping Carter for years. Goodwin attempts to attack her, but Kate secretly calls for backup beforehand. She has Goodwin arrested and pressures him to provide evidence against Carter.
Meanwhile, Guy secretly attempts to warn Don about their arrival at the dock. Eddie notices the interaction but deliberately says nothing to Carter, quietly showing his support for Customs. At the docks in Pakistan, Carter asks Guy about his plan for transporting the drugs. Guy explains that the shipment will travel to London by boat, but Carter insists that Guy travel with the drugs himself. Don and Bailey are left shocked as the episode comes to an end.
