However, as the meeting draws to a close, Molly wonders if time has stood still, as it feels like three hours have passed, yet it's been merely an hour. Nicholas offers a word of comfort, reminding her that she's not obligated to stay, but Molly remains resolute, determined to make this work.
Suddenly, her phone rings. It's one of her friends, inviting her to a glamorous fragrance launch party. Molly pauses, weighing her options, but ultimately opts for maturity and declines the invitation (or so we believe).
The next day, Molly sends a chauffeur-driven car to fetch a bewildered Sofia. She reveals her plan: a bonding retreat for the entire team. The turbulence lasts for a couple of minutes, and the pilot announces that they need to make an unscheduled stop in Oklahoma to wait out the storm.
As the group huddles in the airplane hangar, Nicolas reveals a bombshell: their original destination was Miami for the fragrance party, not the bonding retreat. Sofia's anger flares again towards Molly, and the rest of the team expresses their displeasure at being used as pawns in this scheme. Sofia announces they will be returning to LA on a regular plane, and the rest of the team reluctantly agrees.
