Love, Take Two – K-drama Episode 6 1

As Hyo-ri regains consciousness, Ji-an resolves to swiftly adapt to these unforeseen changes, determined to go above and beyond to assist her daughter in any way possible. She promptly dials Jeong-seok's number, only to be met with an unwelcome revelation: Bo Hyeon's mother, Lee Yeo-jeong, has returned, casting a shadow over their peace.

Lee Yeo-jeong has come bearing the news that her company is bidding on the Cheonghae Cultural Center, and as a setting director, she anticipates staying in town for several months. She casually suggests moving in with them during her stay, a proposition that leaves Jeong-seok anything but pleased. Jeong-seok finds her unpredictable appearances disruptive and harmful to their stability, while Bo Hyeon's attempts to reason with her, highlighting how her spontaneous visits create confusion and upheaval, fall on deaf ears. Despite Jeong-seok's worries, Bo Hyeon brushes them aside, insisting that he can manage the situation.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Moon-hee encounters Ji-an and Hyo-ri. Though she's there for her own health check-up, Moon-hee seamlessly transitions into the role of a caring guardian for Hyo-ri, arranging a wheelchair for her and expertly navigating them through the hospital corridors, her presence a comforting beacon amidst the chaos.

Do you recall Moon-hee's phone call in the previous episode? Well, she now arrives to consult Dr. Kim, disclosing her dire health condition. Once a practicing physician herself, she secures a cozy room for Hyo-ri. Moon-hee finds herself solitary since her husband's demise last year, which marked the beginning of her health's decline. She had a daughter named Catherine, who resided in the United States for over a decade. However, Moon-hee's occupation kept her occupied, limiting her time with her daughter. Tragically, Catherine lost her life in a devastating car accident, pushing Moon-hee into a tailspin of delirium. In the hallway, she momentarily loses her composure and, upon encountering Ji-an, decides to step in and aid her, having now grasped the entirety of her plight.

Elsewhere, Sun-young notices Tae-oh brooding on the street, nurturing a stray cat. Determined to contribute positively, he offers to lend a hand around the shop. After a couple of lighthearted trials, Sun-young reluctantly agrees to hire him as a part-time employee.

Back at the hospital, Moon-hee accompanies Hyo-ri and Ji-an to their consultation with the physician. She adopts a firm stance with him, although she complements his skill as a doctor. He insists on advancing their surgery and agrees to do whatever is necessary. Moon-hee's demeanor begins to win Ji-an's favor.

Upon her return, Ji-an isn't particularly thrilled to learn of Tae-oh's impending collaboration with them. Nevertheless, he sweetens the deal by presenting gifts for everyone. Tae-oh doesn't stick around for long, as Hyo-ri ventures out to a birthday party with Bo-hyeon. Unfortunately, she overhears Bo-hyeon reject So-yeon while simultaneously revealing Hyo-ri's critical illness.

Concurrently, Ji-an and Sun-young visit Moon-hee, urging her to venture out of her home to savor their cuisine at the shop. While there, Ji-an notices a burn on her arm and gently assists in dressing it.

Later, when Hyo-ri calls Ji-an, she exhorts her daughter with renewed vigor to push forward and seize the desires of her heart. As she sprints down the dock, her hurried footsteps are mirrored by Bo-hyeon, who dashes towards her with equal urgency. He seizes her hand and envelops her in his embrace, both of them dashing through the downpour in a futile attempt to escape the relentless rain. Guiding her to his shelter, she confesses, her heart bare, that she harbors feelings for him.
