The chilling truth is that even if Creasy were to kill Tappen, the "dead man's switch" would still be triggered, guaranteeing the release of the evidence.

Further complicating matters, Creasy's act of rescuing Ferraz's family angers Soares, who then kills Ferraz and puts Tappen under house arrest to prevent Creasy from going after the CIA agent.

Creasy's initial plan was to turn himself in and kill Tappen in a room. However, Melo warns him against this suicide mission, sensing his guilt and blaming himself for Rayburn being targeted and his team being killed. Melo insists it's not his fault and explains that Poe cannot afford to lose him too. She needs him to survive what comes next. This becomes evident when Poe finally gains access to her father's laptop and sees family photos, her memories tainted by the events that have transpired. Creasy consoles her, promising that she's not alone. Bitterly, she points out that she is, but he reassures her that he will be by her side.

At the end of the episode, we see Creasy standing by Poe's side at the Rayburns' funeral, his commitment to protecting her unwavering.

Creasy creates a deceptive tape, and Osip, Ivan's accomplice, secretly infuses it with a mild, non-fatal toxin. Melo secures the tape in a safety deposit box.

Ivan's father has a condo under a shell company, and the gang stages a robbery at the property. Unfortunately, a neighbor recognizes Creasy and alerts the police. The ensuing confusion allows the gang to escape. In a bold move, Vico voluntarily surrenders to avoid exposing the trap's true purpose.

Tappen interrogates Vico, who feigns being hired to steal a key to a safety deposit box containing a tape recording of Carmo coercing Ferraz into carrying out the bombing. Soares and Tappen retrieve the tape and play it in a locked room. They hear Creasy's lie about the tape being laced with a deadly toxin, causing the two men to experience symptoms and panic. They call for an evacuation, and in the ensuing chaos, Vico escapes.

Soares and Tappen are taken to the nearest hospital for examination. At this moment, Poe reveals herself to them and flees with Ivan. Shocked, Tappen dispatches most of the officers in pursuit of her.

With minimal security around Tappen and Soares, Creasy heads towards them. However, Tappen soon realizes that this is a trap and orders a lockdown. Reinforcements arrive and begin firing at the gang. Vico, Livro, and Melo arrive to assist Ivan and Poe, who are surrounded.

Creasy pursues Tappen and corners him in a room. Through their in-ear communication, Poe screams for Creasy's help, triggering one of his episodes. Tappen strangles him but Creasy regains consciousness and kills Tappen.

As the officers prepare to unleash their fury upon the gang, Creasy suddenly appears, brandishing a Molotov cocktail. With a swift movement, he ignites the officers, engulfing them in flames and claiming their lives.

Just as they manage to escape, Soares takes Poe hostage, reminding her of the "dead man's switch" that would trigger her loss. Poe uses her self-defense skills to break free, and a fierce struggle for the gun ensues between the two men. Creasy ultimately emerges victorious, killing Soares but sustaining a chest wound in the process. Thankfully, Creasy survives the ordeal.

The truth is finally revealed, clearing Creasy's name. Carmo is arrested, while Melo decides to remain in Rio, hoping to work together to fix the country's problems. Vico and Livro join Ivan's company, and Poe, who has been living with her grandmother, finally holds a funeral for the Rayburns.

The CIA director reaches out to Creasy for a mission, targeting the same individuals who ambushed his team in Mexico City. Creasy agrees to take a look.
